The Ultimate Corvette Garage

In the fall of 1962 when Chevrolet introduced the 10th anniversary Corvette that became known as the 'Split Window Coupe', Oklahoma high schooler Michael Brown knew he had to have one. He also knew it probably wouldn't happen fast. He was right about that. It took 22 years, but he finally acquired one. And though he never planned it that way, it became the cornerstone of a collection of Vettes and classic Chevys in Texas. Housed in a custom 'Corvette Garage', the collection even has its own website at hookedonvettes.com. But you can watch an overview here....

The Bob McDorman Corvette Collection
Long time Ohio Chevy dealer Bob McDorman is not only a renowned Corvette dealer, but an impressive collector, as well. Housed in several buildings on his dealership's lot in Canal Winchester, Ohio, the collection was opened to the public one day a year. Equally impressive was McDorman's astounding collection of vintage neon signs. Bob allowed the cameras of Texas-based Michael Brown Productions into the collection and he even sat down for an interview. Regrettably, within months of this piece being put together, the collection was sold at auction in November 2010.
