NA Big Block Monaro Goes 8.82 at Sydney Dragway
Greg Trapnell from Trapnell Racing Engines gets this big beast of a Monaro going with a naturally aspirated 632 big block chev. They made 863rwhp on the Dyno and ran 8.82 over the quarter. and then they're hooking up the gas!

LS2 power ~ 8s on a stock bottom end
Built by LS1PWR Performance & Tuning, Jason's VN Calais was using a bit of a slap up engine for the weekend's shootout at Heathcote Raceway. The GM LS2 V8 engine features Patriot cathedral port cylinder heads but the bottom end remains factory spec, as well as the camshaft. The car ran quicker than expected. Boost comes from a large Garrett 91mm turbocharger using E85 fuel. Jason went on to win the top 10 grudge racing ~ Melbourne's Fastest Street Cars. Get your track gear!
