2009 Mercedes Benz C300 Oil Change Tutorial by Howstuffinmycarworks
In this video Lauren explains how to change the Engine Oil and Oil Filter on a 2009 Mercedes Benz C300. She also explains how to choose the correct viscosity depending on the climate you live in. This information is also available in your owners manual. The suggested interval in between oil changes for this vehicle is 10,000 miles, it is crucial to use synthetic oil and the highest quality oil filter in this vehicle to make sure that the engine is protected for that long period of time. You will need 8 1/2 qts of synthetic oil, make sure that you only add 5 quarts first when the vehicle is up on ramps to avoid overfilling it, once you have lowered the car to the ground and it is leveled you can check the engine oil level and add more oil till the dipstick reads full.
