Australian Holden LX Torana LS1 running here in California latest updates
My Torana, LS1 with Edelbrock intake, big brakes, 6 speed, Exhaust I built, a/c, power windows, remote locks, custom 18" wheels, upgraded suspension, etc.
I did all of the work including electrical, engine swap, cooling system, hidden a/c stuff, fuel system, suspension and the rest of the build.
I imported it years ago (and others since), but this one has been my favorite!)

Chris Theo was very lucky to escape unscathed from this unfortunate accident at Heathcote Park. The very well built V8 powered Holden LX hatchback Torana didn't fare so well.

Holden Torana LX with LS1 and Spintech mufflers
My Torana is coming right along and just about ready to hit the road now. I built it all here in SoCal, LS1, 6 speed, big brakes, etc, etc. Exhaust is handmade headers, X pipe and Spintech side exit mufflers.

My Aussie Holden Torana. Has a LS1 and 6 speed manual transmission, 14.25" front brakes, 13" rear brakes, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, aluminum drop drop, Aeromotive fuel system, 18" x 8 and 10" wheels, 9" diff, etc, etc. Built it all from the ground up pretty much. Still need to finish it of course, but coming along well !

A one lap race at Mount Panorama, Bathurst between a 1979 Holden A9X Torana, a 2004 Holden VZ SS Commodore & a 2004 Holden VZ Commodore V8 Supercar.
It's interesting to see how far racing technology has progressed.
The V8 Supercar happens to be the same car as my 1/6th Radio controlled version, as featured in some of my other clips.
Australian Holden LX Torana LS1 powered driving in California
More specs in my previous video, finally got the car pretty well sorted out and took it out for it's first run in this video. Just around the block a few times to check for any problems being a new build and all. Wanted to see how the Exhaust sounded as well, so some video from inside and outside the car. So far so good and will be going for longer drives shortly after just checking over a few things! Car has an LS1, T56 6 speed trans, big brakes, air conditioning, etc, etc.

Here is the latest video and pictures of my fully restored LX SS Torana Hatchback Coupe. It's an all original car, that retains its 308 cubic Inch Holden Engine, 4 speed M21 Manual Gearbox and 3.08:1 limited Slip differential.
The car is a great pleasure to drive, and a fantastic cruising car on the highway and also fantastic handling on corners, the sound is not loud but has you feeling like you are riding in a rolling thunder storm even at lower RPM's.
I hope you enjoy watching this video as much as I enjoyed making it.
