LT1 Trans Am 600+hp Lapeer Dragway
8psi. 92 Octane. Stock car meaning all stock weight, trans, axle, sway bar.. Modified Motor meaning 383, AI ported heads + cam and a Supercharger. This setup was Dyno'd at 570rwhp and climbing at the limiter (~650hp) @ 6200rpm with ~34 degrees total timing, proven on the Dyno with video attached in my profile. Since the Dyno I pulled 6-7 degrees for safety for things like this video so who knows what power, 550-560 at the wheels? How about running Rice Boost levels? (20-30psi)? haha.

STS Rear Mount Turbo Lag Demonstration
I hope this video can bust the myth of rear mount turbo's being laggy. Full Boost @ right around 3000rpm. (yes that's right 3k!) '95 LT1 Camaro with 4 speed 4L60e automatic. Motor is stock and has ~160k miles. In some of the clips, you'll notice a short pause of the needle before going into Boost, this is the transmission downshifting. Other clips do not have this because I manually selected 2nd gear. *EDIT Shortly after making this video, I discovered that half the intake manifold bolts were loose and that the manifold was lifting under Boost. Turbo LT1 Camaro
Second start up ever with this turbo kit. on 93 octane, still needed some work in this video. The turbo kit is 100% custom made by Hi-Tuned Performance in Arnold MO. all tig welded, stainless steel. GT42 turbo, 383 ci, 11.34:1 compression (converting to E-85) EDIT 7-11-2012: car has been converted to E-85, runs okay, but needs new valve springs, Im getting valve float. It will sit in stop and go traffic and never get above 200 deg, while moving it will sit right at 160 deg. I have put a slightly larger cam in since this video was taken, still sounds stockish. The car is easy to drive, has mostly full interior, and has given me basically no problems since this video, and i have put well over 1000 miles on it.
