My 1970 Fastback and my cousins 71 mach 1!
This is my 1970 Ford Mustang fastback. This is the first car dad bought when we decided to get into Drag racing. This is the earliest videos I have of the car prior to repainting it. Much of the interior is still the same ( in need of fixing up lol). The rear suspension has been changed to a ladder bar suspension with full frame.I have a 351 windsor as the power plant. I did a cam and cylinder head change the next year. For the most part the engine has not been changed in over 10 years and still is running strong. The best time it has run is 7.60 in the 8th mile. Hope to be posting more videos of "Ol Blue" soon. The red 1971 Mustang mach 1 belonged to my cousins that now races dirt track. It had a 351 Cleveland and ran low 8s.
