Mustang Scott Drake Hood Pin Kit Installation 2005-2009 09/p/HDPK4/ This Scott Drake Stainless Steel Hood Pin Kit is for all 2005-2009 Mustangs, and keeps the hood closed in the case of a hood latch failure. It also adds a certain aesthetic to the front end of your car, providing that classic muscle car look. The kit comes complete with the pins, plates, and cables. For installation, you want to first remove the radiator support cover, adn then install the support brackets for the pins. Next, install both pins and use a sharpie to mark the hood. Drill the two holes in the hood of your Mustang, making sure to hold the drill at the same angle of the pins, and then install the plates. Then, attach the lanyards to the radiator support and cut the radiator support cover to fit the new hood pins, using the provided Scott Drake template. Reinstall the radiator support cover and your installation is finished.
