MCM MAGAZINE ISSUE 8 OUT NOW Shop: Facebook: Forum: It's worth pointing out that the S2000 bonnet is aluminium so it doesn't rust. But if you are installing on a body part that can rust, make sure you punt up the exposed metal. There's also locking versions of these same catches for those that remove the factory system, or are using carbon fibre bonnets. Also something to note around Mighty Car Mods: we are normal guys and are not trained mechanics. We like to make interesting car mods and show you how we've gone about it, but we can't promise that anything we show you will work for your particular car, or that you won't harm yourself, someone else, your car or your warranty doing it. Please be safe, be responsible and unless you know what you're doing, do not fool around with very serious machinery just because you've seen us make it look so easy. Talk to a qualified mechanic if you are in any doubt.

Mustang Scott Drake Hood Pin Kit Installation 2005-2009 09/p/HDPK4/ This Scott Drake Stainless Steel Hood Pin Kit is for all 2005-2009 Mustangs, and keeps the hood closed in the case of a hood latch failure. It also adds a certain aesthetic to the front end of your car, providing that classic muscle car look. The kit comes complete with the pins, plates, and cables. For installation, you want to first remove the radiator support cover, adn then install the support brackets for the pins. Next, install both pins and use a sharpie to mark the hood. Drill the two holes in the hood of your Mustang, making sure to hold the drill at the same angle of the pins, and then install the plates. Then, attach the lanyards to the radiator support and cut the radiator support cover to fit the new hood pins, using the provided Scott Drake template. Reinstall the radiator support cover and your installation is finished.
