Wheelbase: 154-inches. At first glance, this car looks like an armored limousine, with inch-thick glass and carefully-drilled gun ports. On closer examination, however, it gets more and more curious. The Cadillac build records call it "Fltwd Limo," body style 6275, number 356, and indicate it was ordered by the Chicago branch on February 21, 1935. Painted Thessalon Green, it had black leather in the front compartment and Wiese brown vogue weave broadcloth in the rear. Fitted with six wire wheels, two of them in fender wells, it had a radio in the rear compartment and a flexible steering wheel. There is a further notation about "Special Fleetwood Body Order 310," the details of which are lost to history. The online Cadillac Data Base, a meticulous compilation by historian Yann Saunders, gives production figures for Style 6275 as nine in 1934 and just seven in 1935, exclusive of those given suffixes as sedans, formal limousines or limousines with increased headroom. The bodies were the same as the flat-windshield limousine Style 6075, whose Fisher body tags they sometimes wore.

Road Atlanta Corvette Z06 chasing MTI Z06
This was taken at Road Atlanta running with NASA on March 16, 2008. I am driving a relatively stock C5 Z06 Corvette trying to keep up with a highly modified MTI Corvette Z06. I was able to keep up in the corners, but it had a lot of power to pull away on the straights. I am on Nitto 555R2 tires that are now due for replacement. The owner of the MTI Z06 is a very nice guy and has a very cool car. It was a lot of fun trying to keep up.

The first generation Cadillac CTS-V debuted back in 2004 and came with an engine out of a C5 generation Corvette. This CTS-V flew under the radar for a few years until the release of the second generation car back in 2009. This model turned the automotive world on its side thanks to a fire-breathing supercharged V-8 motor that made 556 horsepower and set a factory production sedan lap record at the Nürburgring ring. First thing you notice is the shiny mesh, aggressive lower front fascia, massive black rims, and red Brembo brake calipers. The coupe itself is a cool looking car with the angular shape and metallic paint job. Out back the CTS-V sports an integrated rear wing and a trick center mount Exhaust. Under the hood is where the magic happens. The 2014 Cadillac CTS-V is powered by an LSA engine taken from a Corvette ZR-1. This Supercharged 6.2 Liter V-8 makes a whopping 556 horsepower and 551 lb-ft of torque. The power is sent through a 6-speed transmission (auto or manual) to the rear wheels. This luxury coupe looks good, sounds good, feels good, and most importantly goes like a bat out of hell. The interior is very driver focused. The model tested here is outfitted with the $3400 Recaro performance seating package. An Alcantara treatment is given to the steering wheel and shift knob. The real thrill of any V-Series Cadillac is driving it. The CTS-V offers you a great driving position with an unobstructed view of the road. More importantly though is the great engine and gearbox sending that power to the rear wheels which means fun. The ride is perfect thanks to the Magnetic-Controlled shocks that are usually found on high priced exotics.
