Based on the comments and the thumbs, it looks like about 15% think the bicyclist was at fault and 85% think the SUV driver was. I respect and encourage all opinions, but please keep your comments civilized. After I talked to the SUV driver and made sure I had his license plate and description, I returned to the scene to find that several other witnesses stopped to help the girl. The girl didn't seem to be hurt, but she was shaken up. She definitely needed a new bike. Front wheel, forks destroyed and frame seemed bent. The SUV driver parked across the street from where I talked to him and walked back to the scene on foot after I told him he was on video. Since I drove back, I got there before him, so I had a chance to talk the girl and the other witnesses who were grateful that I caught up with the driver and had his information. I gave her my name and number and let her know I had the whole thing on video, but she never called.
