L'opération est assez délicate et est à réserver à des bricoleur avertis.

The M113 5.5 ML is a supercharged and twin-intercooled version of the 5.4 L (5439 cc) M113 E55. Output is 493 hp (368 kW) (469 hp for the E55 AMG) at 6100 rpm with 516 ft.lbf (700 Nm) of torque at 2750-4000 rpm.

Oltre al propulsore endotermico V-6, Honda NSX utilizza un'unità motrice ausiliaria composta da due motori elettrici, collegata al sofisticato sistema Sport Hybrid SH-AWD: questa nuova trazione integrale ibrida può generare istantaneamente una coppia motrice positiva o negativa su entrambe le ruote anteriori in curva, ottenendo una maneggevolezza non ancora raggiunta dai precedenti sistemi AWD. In aggiunta ai benefici apportati alla maneggevolezza, il motore V-6 con VTEC di nuova generazione e sistema di iniezione diretta, lavora in sincronia con la nuova trasmissione a doppia frizione con motore elettrico incorporato, per creare un'accelerazione da supercar, offrendo al contempo una grande efficienza.
