How To Replace ICM (Ignition Control Module) on GMC Safari & Astro Van
Here is how to replace the ICM - ignition control module on a GMC Safar or
Chevrolet Astro van. The ICM can wear out over time and cause misfires.
Sometimes the ICM is fine, but it overheats because there is not enough
grease under it to help it dissipate the extra heat. This video shows you
how to replace the ICM ignition control module on your GMC Safari or Astro
van. It's an easy job to do. The new ICM costs around $50.

I love this van it's just fab! Not only does she look awesome but inside is
out of this world! These custom vans were and are sold through Chevrolet
dealers in the states. She was only imported in 2007 so is rust free and
has all been treated. She is in excellent condition throughout and drives
like a dream. She comes loaded with toys from Sat Nav, DVD player, TV,
cruise control, swivel captains chairs and the rear seat that electrically
turns into a bed at the flick of a switch. Even the mood lighting is just
great. She is fitted with Chevrolet's 4.3 litre 165bhp Vortec engine that
returns over 20mpg. Just watch the video she is fantastic!
GMC Safari & Astro Van Review
This is a review of the GMC Safari or Chevrolet Astro Van. The Safari and
Astro vans are very similar General Motors vehicles, powered by the 4.3
liter V6 engine. These vans are big enough to hold a 4 x 8 sheet of
plywood, haul 8 passengers, or pull a 5,000 pound trailer. If you want to
buy a used GMC Safari Van or Chevrolet Astro Van, this video will answer
your questions. They are good vans. I love mine.
Kickin Astro Van
Cedarville Community Park in Cedarville, Ohio
This new to the scene Chevy AWD Astro Van was a fan favorite and didn't
disappoint the crowd. But unfortunately in the end, it wound up breaking a
hub I think...

you have any information about a Supercharger for this thing.
Thanks for watching!
Dans Cars over the years.wmv
GM cars that I've had over the years. The first one being a 61 Impala
Converyible. I tried to keep them in order but some are not. There are
about 12 pix missing and those aren't on here. I think there are 46 cars on
this one. Not all were driven cars but were bought to be restoration
projects but most were actually driven home. The only one that I can think
of that wasn't driven home was a 57 Chevy Hardtop which didn't have
complete engine. Some of the pix I have were sometimes after work was
started and they look like junk to the average person but, I could see them
finished! One 55 Nomad, I won several trophys with. A red 57 Chevy won
several as well. Most though were cars I fixed just good enough to drive
daily. Most were bought as used cars but about 10 or so were bought new.
New ones include, 76 Blue Van, 80 Citation, 82 Camaro, 85 Camaro, 87 GMC S10 Blazer, 92
Chev, S10 Blazer, 88 Astro van, and 2008 Tahoe. I'm missing pix of 73
Corvette, 77 new Chevy truck, 97 Chevy dually, a red 77 Camaro and a few more. Maybe
later I'll add them.
Chevy Astro CPI Fuel Injector Install Part 1
The leaking fuel pressure regulator on my Chevy Astro needed to be
replaced. My van has 175k miles on the odometer and I thought it would be
best to replace the injector and regulator as a unit. The regulator kit
alone cost is around $100.00, and the unit with the injector and regulator
comes in at around $140.00. The fuel line kit (aka nut kit) should cost
around another $50.00. 90% of the work is done form the inside of the van.
Sorry for the bad lighting.
