1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS All Street Project Car
This is my 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. I have owned this car for 13
years and it has been in the family for over 26 years. The car has just
under 29,000 original miles. The engine and drivetrain is all original as
well as the paint and interior. I didn't drive the car much, so I decided
to make a few subtle changes, mostly in the stance, so I would drive it
more. Just don't care for the stock stance on these cars. For the front I
used 2" drop Belltech spindles and 1" drop Belltech springs. For the rear I
used OPG 3" drop rear springs. 3" total drop front and rear. I used
Belltech Street Performance shocks on all four corners. The wheels are
Center Line Retros 18 x7 front, 18 x 8 rear. Nitto NT555 tires 225/45 in
the front, 255/45 in the rear. Also for a little more sound, I went with
Flowmaster Super 40 mufflers and custom tailpipes. I drive the car a lot
now just cause I enjoy it so much more. I didn't cut anything and I have
everything to put the car back original if I ever decide to in the future.
Thanks for looking!
2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Supercharged Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Tour
In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
SS Supercharged. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and
exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and
noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine
and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under
acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a
greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

Pro Toured 1984 Monte Carlo SS
My Dad and I built this car and have had it since it was brand new in '84.
Learned how to drive in this car! 1984 Monte Carlo SS. 350 HO GM
Performance crate engine, comp cam, Edlelbrock RPM intake manifold, 2.5" Exhaust, headers, B&M torque converter,
lowered, 17x8 torque thrust wheels, Baer brake track kit, Yukon 3.73 gears
and chromoly axle shafts, LSD diff, HD cross member and cut outs for true
dual Exhaust, too much to list. Sorry
for the terrible sound quality when it cranks up. Cheap camera! Here is a
link to a good video of the Exhaust
1971 Monte Carlo with 454ci engine, 3" original Flowmaster 50 series mufflers, no tailpipes
This is my 1971 Monte Carlo. The video clip is for sound comparisons for
different Exhausts. The engine is
about 9:1 compression and has a small hydraulic roller cam (224/234 deg @
0.050", .527"/.544" lift). The intake is an Edelbrock RPM air gap, and the
carb is a 750 Mighty Demon mechanical Secondary. The headers are Hooker
Competition headers with 2" primaries and 3.5" collectors which go into 3"
dual Exhaust with 3" 50-Series
Flowmaster mufflers which end right before the rear end.

Skirts, HID headlights, all brake and reverse lights working. Clean glass.
No dents. Minor scratches just like any driven car has but a great
All black SS with inserts. Very comfortable, very clean, minor tears on
backseat arm rests. All windows roll up and down properly. Color Bar
under glove box wired to headunit. 2 6x9s in back dash and 5 1/4s in the
doors. Audio is really loud and clear. Its an AC car, everything under
the hood but no belt, I do not know what all it needs.
Original 327 with a 2 Speed Powerglide (ALL external seals replaced just 2
weeks ago with Receipt). New 150amp alternator, new axles, bearings,
seals. Car runs great and I don't hesitate to take this car anywhere.
Rides at 190 degrees, 14 volts. Since I've had this car a lot of Mechanical
work was done to get this car truly road worthy. All work done within the
past 4 monthes. U-joints and slip yoke 8 monthes ago. Dual Exhaust. Sounds and runs strong with no
2 pumps, 4 batteries, 6 switches. 1inch extended A-arms with perches
reinforced. Frame is straight, very simple set up. Trunk pan does have a
hole but I never show the trunk so its not a problem. Just went through
set up, adding new check valves and seals. Y-Bone off rear end to allow
skirts. Slip-yoke driveshaft.
I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting but feel free to ask questions. I'm
only selling to get a convertible. I drive this car every weekend and I
gurantee you will too. Thanks
