1971 Monte Carlo with 454ci engine, 3" original Flowmaster 50 series mufflers, no tailpipes
This is my 1971 Monte Carlo. The video clip is for sound comparisons for
different Exhausts. The engine is
about 9:1 compression and has a small hydraulic roller cam (224/234 deg @
0.050", .527"/.544" lift). The intake is an Edelbrock RPM air gap, and the
carb is a 750 Mighty Demon mechanical Secondary. The headers are Hooker
Competition headers with 2" primaries and 3.5" collectors which go into 3"
dual Exhaust with 3" 50-Series
Flowmaster mufflers which end right before the rear end.
Curlys Pinstriping Orange 63 Impala Lowrider
this lowrider project is a combination of patterns, gold leaf, and
pinstriping. The top was patterned with transparent pearl fades. We added
23 karat spun gold leaf to the body of the car with scroll artwork.
Multicolor pinstriping tied everything together.

past 4 monthes. U-joints and slip yoke 8 monthes ago. Dual Exhaust. Sounds and runs strong with no
2 pumps, 4 batteries, 6 switches. 1inch extended A-arms with perches
reinforced. Frame is straight, very simple set up. Trunk pan does have a

set up, adding new check valves and seals. Y-Bone off rear end to allow
skirts. Slip-yoke driveshaft.
I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting but feel free to ask questions. I'm
