1982 Mercedes-Benz 240D W123 Start Up, Quick Tour, & Rev With Exhaust View - 199K (Diesel)
1982 Mercedes Benz 240D
Re-uploaded to fix a small editing mistake. Sorry for the awful video &
sound quality. IDK it was so off.
This Oldie has a 64 HP 2.4L 4 Cyl Diesel engine thats paired to a 4 speed
These cars may take a decade to reach 60MPH but they run forever. A 240D
owner in Europe has managed putting 2.8 Million miles on his & that was
reported back in 2004. Imagine how much it has now lol
Funny how cars such as the TOYOTA COROLLA still utiize a 4 speed auto.
Hello 1982 lol

Introduction to the Single Tank Vegetable Oil Fuel Conversion on Old Mercedes Diesels
For more info and related products click the following link:
des-diesel-run-vegetable-oil-svo-using-the - Mercedes diesel engines
produced from the 1950s up to the late 1990's are well suited to run on
straight vegetable oil (SVO). In fact most models built up into the early
1990's are so well suited that they are one of the few passenger car diesel
engines that can be reliably operated on a single fuel tank conversion.
That means the vegetable oil goes in the factory tank with no need for a
back-up diesel fuel tank. High quality waste vegetable oil (WVO) can be
collected (mostly free!) from restaurants, settled, stored, filtered and
poured right into the fuel tank. Kent will explain how he operates his own
300TD wagon on this system and the steps he has to take when the weather
gets cold. This applies to all Mercedes 190D, 200D, 220D, 240D, 300D,
300CD, 300TD, 300SD, 300SDL, 350SD, 350SDL, and 300D 2.5. by Kent Bergsma
1986 Mercedes-Benz 300SDL Turbo Diesel Start Up, Engine, and In Depth Tour
In this video I give a full in depth tour of a 1986 Mercedes Benz 300SDL.
I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this
car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique
styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details
of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough
tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall
appreciation of the vehicle.
The Biodiesel Experience
If you've ever considered giving up that gasoline guzzling car or truck,
join me as I explore the pros and cons of fueling with biodiesel.
Using Biodiesel in a Mercedes-Benz Diesel
Dr. Dan of Dr. Dan's Biodiesel discusses important tech tips for using
eco-friendly biodiesel fuel in older Mercedes-Benz diesels. The subject of
this demonstration is a W123 300TD with an OM617 engine, other Benz diesel
engines and chassis are similar.
This is how you start a 1958 Mercedes 300D
A very good customer of Rumbleseat Restorations brought his restored 1958
Mercedes 300D in to have the brakes repaired. The manager, Dean Warren was
given the task of test driving the car but first he had to figure out how
to start it. After some head scratching he finally did figure it out, much
to the amusement of the staff.
Rumbleseat Restorations in Mission BC Canada is one of the oldest
restoration shops in Western Canada and has the reputation of taking on the
impossible and doing what can't be done. Their quality, workmanship and
knowledge is unsurpassed...except when you ask the manager to figure out
how to start a European car.
