CHEVY 454 ENGINE START UP ON GROUND * HOT RATROD ENGINE * TEST RUN * REDNECK ENGINEERING
NO RIGHTS ARE IMPLIED TO THE MUSIC PLAYING......Just purchased this 454 Chevy engine. Had been sitting for 10 yrs. 86,000 actual miles on it. Switched to the electronic distributor and it started right up. Just needs a little more "cam" to make it sound better. OH, AND I FOUND OUT IT IS A 2-BOLT MAIN,MY BAD!!

Chevy Big Block Engine Starting
We just finished our new Chevy Big-Block engine, wich will soon find a home in our 1980 Camaro. It is just one of many BBC's that I have built. It is a "street friendly" 10:1 all forged, mechanical roller with too many goodies to list . It sounds crazy and I can't wait to feel the tire shreading performance.

How To Build a Chevy 383 Stroker - Part 1: Block & Crank
This is a new multi part series on how to assemble a small block Chevy 383 stroker motor (actually it is an internal combustion engine - "motors" are electric - but I digress LOL). MOST of the assembly applies to any small block engine. I have divided up the assembly procedure into many parts so you can skip to the specific part you are looking for, i.e: crank, camshaft, timing chain or how to adjust rockers. Removing my Chevy 350 motor and tranny from my '72 El Camino
Yanking out my 350/th350 from my '72 El Camino. Everything was prepped before hand - radiator pulled out, headers/spark plugs removed, power steering unbolted and bungeed, ignition taken out, motor mount bolts removed, driveshaft taken out, crossmember removed, tranny jacked and prepped. This is the end product of the heart transplant. A 454/th400 will be soon be installed and roaring.

Engine rebuild part 1
We are rebuilding a GM 350 5.7 engine. Now in this particular case we are also going to upgrade the engine to a 383 6.0 This is called building a "stroker" motor. In other words we are increasing the "stroke" of the engine which increased the torq & horsepower. If you are able & wanting to rebuild an engine, this video should give you a good overview of what to do. If you are having someone else build an engine for you, you will be able to see what's involved in the process

69 Chevy Short Bed 350 engine START UP~ AWESOME!
Just finished installing the 350 that was started on the ground, into the '69 Chevy short bed. 4-bolt main, 370 posi rear, headers, aluminum intake and Edlebrock carb. Took a day and 1/2 by myself. Will make a nice cruiser for someone.

350 Chevy Small Block Choppy Idle in a 76 K20 Chevrolet
357ci Chevy using Comp Cams 286H. Ram truck pulling Clutch Disk, Pressure Plate, Billet Flywheel inside a Lakewood Bellhousing. Lots of other fun stuff inside the engine. 40 Series Flowmasters channeled through 3" Exhaust tubing. Sounds decent for a 10 year old engine that has seen lots of abuse.
