Took advantage of my buddies HD camera, and filmed my car running mildly on the streets of Los Angeles. Needs a nice paint job. Going with a pro touring look; hence 18/20 TTII's and a brand new speed tech suspension QA1 adjustable Afco shocks all corners.

Test Driving 1967 Chevrolet Camaro 502 Big-Block Restomod - Fast Lane Classic Cars
Be sure to check us out on Facebook at:
I thought you'd like a look at this awesome 1967 Chevrolet Camaro. This beast is powered by
a ZZ502 Big-block crate engine, that's pushing out 502 HP and 567 LbFt of
Torque. All that power is being funneled through a Centerforce clutch, to
a Borg Warner T10 four-speed, and then back to a 12 bolt rear with 3.55
gears. This car has all the performance you need and then some. It's also a
beautifully restored car, from the ultra slick black exterior with SS trim,
to the completely restored houndstooth interior. It's also equipped with
front disc brakes, Eagle Alloy wheels, and BF Goodrich ZR speed rated
tires. This car goes, turns, and stops amazingly well. I hope you find it
interesting...thanks for taking a look!

Instruments: Guitar, Bass, Kit, Organ, EP
With a jumping bass and off-beat syncopation, this is straight from
Memphis' Beale Street. The Hammond organ and electric guitar play together
as longtime friends, while the melody changes hands from guitar to organ to
electric piano. 011

JCG Restorations 1968 Camaro -- /BIG MUSCLE
Tucked away in a small industrial park in Oxnard, CA sits JCG Restorations
& Customs, a moderately sized shop that has built some of the best
performing pro-touring cars that we've ever driven. Now generally we don't
focus in on shops, however when the owners of three of our best test cars
start dropping names, we tend to listen. Originally we descended on JCG to
drive Blu Balz, a stunning 1968 Camaro owned by one Karl Dunn.
However since Mother Nature decided to water the Earth that day, we put our
original plans on hold and got shop owner Cris Gonzalez to give us the in's
and out's of what it takes to make a stellar pro-touring car.

Born from universal appeal and broad aftermarket support, this sinister Camaro is a virtual tour
de force of proven mechanicals. And with a clean body that's dropped on a
custom suspension, fitted with a leather-lined interior and bolted to a hot
LS7 small block, it's the kind of killer classic that makes factory-fresh
bowties shake in their run-flats!
The beneficiary of a professional, frame-off restoration that was completed
just last week, this slick '69 Camaro features a seamless custom
appearance that's highlighted by an immaculate coat of Charcoal Gray paint.
Take one look down the sides of the car's rock-solid body and it becomes
very obvious that great care was taken to ensure every panel is aligned to
better-than-factory standards. Step closer to that body's mirror-like
pigment and check out its straight and ripple-free surfaces, which are a
product of both clean OEM sheetmetal and high quality replacement panels.
Grab the pivotal pieces of that well-adjusted sheetmetal and experience the
kind of excellent fit that's right at home reflecting a summertime car
show. Then step back to admire one very well-done pro-tourer that's built
to exacting specifications thanks to a great combination of skilled
workmanship and first-rate finishing techniques.
That slick combination of metallic pigment and high class trim certainly is
pretty, but now it's time to get serious. Cranking out 513 rear wheel horsepower, the
lightweight, high performance LS7 rumbling beneath this car's hood is a
technological testament to the old rule: more cubic inches equals more horsepower! Derived
from GM's very successful Corvette racing program, the brutal mill utilizes
forged main bearings, a forged steel crank, titanium connecting rods, a
high lift cam and flat-top, aluminum pistons to flat out whip pretty much
anything with four wheels.
Behind that brazen small block, a fresh Tremec T56 6-speed utilizes a
Ringbrothers clutch reservoir to spin a familiar 12-bolt rear end that's
fitted with high quality Moser axles and stout 3.73 gears. That buff
drivetrain hangs in a custom Global West front and Ridetech rear
suspension, which makes excellent use of tubular control arms, Detroit
Speed subframe connectors and a full set of coil-over-shocks. And torque
melts the pavement thanks to painted Forgeline wheels and 245/35ZR18 front
and 325/30ZR19 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
Behind this Camaro's
solid-closing doors you'll find a supple Upholstery Unlimited interior that
wraps firm leather seats in a nice blend of contemporary style and modern
convenience. At the front of the car, a custom, leather-topped dash hangs a
slick set of Classic Instruments Moal Bomber gauges above a new Sony CD
player and controls for a familiar Vintage Air climate system. Below that
dash, a custom console, which is loosely based on GM's factory-correct
piece, props a sweet Ringbrothers shifter between illuminated window
switches and bright LED courtesy lamps. And in front of the driver, a
snazzy Billet Specialties wheel spins a speed-drilled rim around a subdued
Flaming River steering column.
With its timeless style, excellent performance and modern comfort, this
slick Camaro pro-tourer
is an absolute blast to drive and instantly admired wherever it goes. Call,
