Many of you have been asking for an update on our Trans Am project, so we
thought we better get one done. We weren't really prepared to do it, so
the car isn't as clean as it should be. We have a lot of changes planned
for the Trans Am and we'll do our best to keep you posted about the
progress. Thought I'd go ahead and throw in a flyby and some burnout
footage, just to make it a little more interesting. Thanks for watching!

91 Firebird Formula Stock: Burnout
Everything on this car is stock aside from an open air cleaner, and no cat.
Everything else is stock.

My Boy got it for $757 at age 14. spent the next 2 yrs working on it on the
weekends. Finished by the time he turned 16. It was a alot of fun. We drive
it all summer and Back to the Bricks last 2 years. Garaged in the winter.

G92 Firebird Formula - WS6 Trans Am (3rd Gen)
Performance F-bodies of the late '80s - early '90s... special option WS6,
G92, L98 & the rare 1LE optioned 3rd Generation Factory Road Racers,
produced to compete with the Saleen Mustangs of the era...
Most car guys don't know much about the 5.0 G92 5-speed cars from 90-92,
with 230hp from the factory, 5-speed tranny and 3.42 gears, these 3rd Gen
F-body sleepers like the G92 optioned WS6 Formula V8 gave the lightweight
5.0 Mustang absolute hell.
In 1990 the G92 option code became a full performance package rather than
simply a rear axle option as in previous model years... GM also offered an
answer to the Saleen Mustangs by way of option 1LE, which
consisted of the G92 optioned without A/C and other creature comforts, and
the addition of Corvette brakes and other road racing equipment.

leg up, however, with his new project they're calling the Y-Gen 3rd-Gen.
It's a Trans Am that's a full 7 years older than Dale, but he was able to
build a car he wanted the way he wanted.

1989 Pontiac Trans Am GTA with a Pontiac 6.6 400cid engine that has been
Completely balanced and blueprinted by "War Path Performance" in Opa
Locka, FL. Engine is well over 400 HP. This car is a rocket. Holly
4150 Performance Street Carb (770 cfm 4 barrel Avenger). Edelbrock
performer intake. MSD high energy distributor & coil. 8mm high
performance ignition wires. Ram Air powder coated D Port Manifolds. Ram
Air 3 Competition cam with triple coil competition rocker arms. 60 over
