Trans Am Project Update - 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Third Gen
Be sure to check us out on Facebook at:
Many of you have been asking for an update on our Trans Am project, so we
thought we better get one done. We weren't really prepared to do it, so
the car isn't as clean as it should be. We have a lot of changes planned
for the Trans Am and we'll do our best to keep you posted about the
progress. Thought I'd go ahead and throw in a flyby and some burnout
footage, just to make it a little more interesting. Thanks for watching!
Rebuilding a 3rd gen Firebird to a red-orange beast! Vid 1
I got bored 2 years ago and decided to restore a car in my spare time. I
was going to originally do a high HP Lincoln Mark 8, but after finding the
parts to be stupid expensive and hard to find I decided on a car that was
much more common. With aprox 800000 3rd generation Firebird / Camaro built over 10 years,
almost everything was easy to find and not super pricey. I didn't take any
videos except the first start. Putting a video together was an after
thought. I mainly have pictures to put the car back together correctly :)
I only decided to do videos after the painter mentioned it to me. Its just
a slide show so far.
G92 Firebird Formula - WS6 Trans Am (3rd Gen)
Performance F-bodies of the late '80s - early '90s... special option WS6,
G92, L98 & the rare 1LE optioned 3rd Generation Factory Road Racers,
produced to compete with the Saleen Mustangs of the era...
Most car guys don't know much about the 5.0 G92 5-speed cars from 90-92,
with 230hp from the factory, 5-speed tranny and 3.42 gears, these 3rd Gen
F-body sleepers like the G92 optioned WS6 Formula V8 gave the lightweight
5.0 Mustang absolute hell.
In 1990 the G92 option code became a full performance package rather than
simply a rear axle option as in previous model years... GM also offered an
answer to the Saleen Mustangs by way of option 1LE, which
consisted of the G92 optioned without A/C and other creature comforts, and
the addition of Corvette brakes and other road racing equipment.

Custom 1972 Pontiac Firebird - V8 sound!
Jamboolio records a fully restored 1972 Pontiac Firebird with an 350 cid
5.7L V8 engine and a stunning new paint job.
The monstrous hood scoops and huge air vents added to the all black
exterior makes it a very bad-ass looking muscle car beast! The Exhaust sound is pretty awesome too! Enjoy.

Top Gear on Muscle cars
Before you start ranting about that "this is not top gear!" I want to
inform that Top Gear has been broadcasted for a long time, and not always
with the same presenters, this one is from an episode made in 1989!
Hope you enjoy it!
