1999 Mustang V6: Original Muffler vs Flowmaster Super 44 Muffler

Check out the Super 40 with the same outlet/inlet size, which Amazon claims DOES fit. Just finished installing a Flowmaster Super 44 on my car... A note regarding the sound, the original muffler was recorded using an iPhone 3GS and the second video was recorded using a Vado HD, so the video isn't balanced volume wise. The Super 44 is definitely deeper, a little more throaty and manages to give you a little more sound when you are idling. I really enjoyed installing the new muffler and it is a fun mod!

just what the title and video say... its a 2000 Mustang GT with Flowmaster Super 44 mufflers, a Jegs o/r h-pipe, and 4" tips. The mufflers have about 500-1000 miles on them, so not quite broke in yet. Please don't comment my vid if your trying to diss my car or Exhaust, or tell me im shifting wrong cause im not. there's no need to shift fast when ur driving normal.. and don't tell me i need to learn how to powershift when i got on the highway.. im not into racing so there's no need for me to learn. when i make $100,000 a year and can afford a new clutch, transmission, whatever, then ill learn. sorry for my rant.. thanks for watching!

Flowmaster Super 40 vs Super 44?
This is my Silverado. I am debating installing the Super 40's or the Super 44's. What do you think? The engine is a 86-95 350ci block, four bolt mains, roller cam. Bored .040" ZZ4 rotating assembly, Speed Pro H345NCP-40 pistons 10.7:1 static compression, .032" Quench/Squish height. Patriot 'Vortec' 185cc heads, 2.02"/1.6" valves, Beehive springs. Comp XR276HR-10 cam, 1.52 rockers. Air-Gap dual plane, 1" four hole tapered spacer, Mighty Demon 750cfm annular Boosters. MSD ignition, Summit dist dialed in for 36 degrees @ 3000rpm. 18 degrees initial. +12 vacuum advance on manifold vacuum.

everything is the same as my last vid, but now i have a Pypes x-pipe hooked up. it really beefed up the Exhaust sound. im totally satisfied with it. I also got some longtube headers but i had to send them back and im trying to get them exchanged, so hopefully ill get them and have them put on soon as well.
