Just a sound sample for those interested...This is a 2002 Toyota Tundra TRD SR5 with a 4.7l DOHC 32valve V8 engine. I replaced my factory muffler and resonator with a Flowmaster 40 series si/so muffler with the stock piping (2.5") out the back besides the chrome tip. Work done by Mighty Mufler. Also a 3" spacer lift in the front end fabricated by Fat Bob's Garage and installed by Kevin's Offroad.

2006 Toyota Tundra Flowmaster 40 series dual and a stock exhaust
2006 Toyota tundra with a Lou's Custom ExhaustExhaust system on it. The customer wanted a loud dual using the 40 series flowmaster and also wanted it to be quiet sometimes. We used a diverter valve that he supplied to set up the Exhaust to run either through a stock muffler and the peformance muffler or just through the performance muffler only
2003 Toyota Tundra 4.7L V8 dual exhaust / straight pipes
2003 Toyota Tundra Access Cab 4WD 4.7L V8 - still has factory CATs, but took off the small resinator muffler behind the CATs, and took off the big factory muffler behind the resinator. ran Y-pipe 2 1/4'' pipe dual Exhaust out the back with 24'' long 3 1/2'' chrome tips. the video camera I used is my cheap $79.99 Kodak I got from Wal-Mart years ago, so it doesn't quite do the justice of how loud the truck is. the truck sounds really good to me, i really am pleased with it and like it a lot. sorry i didnt have a better quality camera, but i hope this gives you a little bit better of an idea of what a V8 Tundra sounds like with str8 pipes and no muffler. it cost me 250 bucks in Dothan, AL to get it done. . . took them a little over a half hour to do it. . they did a great job (Extreme Mufflers)
Toyota Tundra Flowmaster Exhaust
2000 Toyota Tundra V8 4.7 SR5 4X4 Flowmaster. All stock except for the Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust system (Comes with the 50 Series SUV muffler).
All original cats are still in place, all 2.5" piping, Single In-Dual Out coming out to 3" Stainless Slash Cut Tips. Cost me about $400 and it has been on the truck for 24K/1 year now. Let me know how it sounds, I will be putting on some WOT passes on soon.
05 Tundra 4.7L w/Airaid CAI & Flowmaster Exhaust
Installed my new Airaid cold air intake and testing it out on the way to work. You can hear it clearly in the truck, but in the vid the Exhaust drowns it out.

Crown Vic Magnaflow Vs. Trd Tundra Flowmaster
a video me and my friend did for fun, my car to the left is a 2000 crown victoria police interceptor with true dual magnaflows, my friend's car to the right is a 2002 trd tundra with a flowmaster 40 series muffler
Tundra Magnaflow
Magnaflow dual in/single out catback. 5.7 2010 Tundra
2006 Toyota Tundra V8 with 18 inch Magnaflow
The muffler is an 18inch Magnaflow 3inch inlet and dual 2.5 inch out. This muffler is a little quieter than the 40 series Flowmaster I had on earlier. The sound is a bit more "throaty" and sounds much better at higher RPMs.
