1980 Trans Am Start Up

My dad starting up his 1980 Pontiac Trans Am for the second time since completly rebuilding the engine, it has a 400. It's pretty loud because he doesn't have an Exhaust on it yet. It's in the makes of being completly restored.

Very First Crank Original 1980 Trans Am. Has Been Sitting For 20 Years, Survivor/Project
I purchased this TA not knowing what was going to work if anything. I put a new battery in it, made sure it had oil, put transmission fluid in it. Put gas in the tank. Had to put gas down the carburetor first to prime it. It started right up and sounded great, Transmission seems to be working properly. Guages work, radio, exterior and interior lights work, clock works. everything seems to work except on window, Car does not smoke. This car is totally all original.. After this video, we found out the car had 3 bent and one broken pushrods, and she still ran..

Totally 100% Original 1980 Trans Am Survivor Barn/Yard Find Sat for 20 Years
This video is the actual first time seeing this car for myself. It was pulled out from the original owners back yard and pulled to a friends home until I could get there. This day it was 102 degrees outside so sorry for all of the puffing going on. This car was going to be scrapped after a mechanic came to see it and he said this car will never run. Well he was totally mistaken. Car sat outside for 18 years and its still not a rust bucket.. We got it running and now working on the carb. UPDATE. WE REBUILT THE CARB TWICE AND REPLACE THE GAS TANK, ALL GAS LINES, SPARK PLUGS WATER PUMP, RADIATOR AND 3 BENT PUSH RODS AND 2 BROKEN ONES. SHE NOW IS A DAILY DRIVER AND RUNS LIKE NEW AND BURNS NO OIL. I HAVE PUT OVER 4,000 MILES ON HER IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS WITH NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER. GO TO MY PAGE AND YOU WILL SEE THE OTHER VIDS OF HER PROGRESS

muscle car salvage yard
i made a trip to a salvage yard to look for seats for a 1969 barracuda and while i was there,i took alot of pics of cars and some trucks.lots of dodges and mopars and alot of chevy cars too. not many fords or foreign cars though. most of these are for sale and for parts.most cars are still restoreable. i did get permission to go there so i didnt trespass or break in. the yellow cuda in the warehouse was my favorite one. if you like anything please comment and ill give you some contact info.. the yard is in nacogdoches,tx. P.S. the place is heavily secured so dont think of breaking in or you will get caught. the feed mill in the background is still in business and its very busy and 18 wheelers use the gravel road that im parked on quite often (the red 1986 chevy is my daily driver and is for sale in the deep east texas craigslist.)

1969 Ambassador first start since 1999
This is an old car I've owned since 1996. Originally a 290 V8, it now has a 360 V8 from a 1970 Rebel. Until a couple weeks ago, it was parked underneath a partially fallen tree. Anyway, this is my attempt to get it to run for the first time since 1999. Tried cranking it about 3-4 years ago, but it wouldn't fire. This time, I've put in some new points and condenser, will see if I can get it to run.

57 CHEVY UNCOVERED 35 YEAR HIBERNATION
After many requests to look at the Old Chevy I finally cleared out around it with the help of Lil Racer so we could take a look at it and make a video of it.

Original 1980 Trans Am Start Up & Walk Around / Survivor Sat for 20 years
She is in the beginning of the clean up and engine work. She was parked in a back yard for 20 years with no attention. I was not knowing what I was getting myself into because i did not know if the engine was blown, transmission is gone, had no idea. I got her home and purchased a new battery, put it on and the first thing that happened is the power antenna went up. Come to find out all the lights work, all the gauges work except the gas gauge. The clock works perfect. I have changed all the plugs, wires, replaced the radiator, all hoses, break lines, front break pads and changed the oil. Carburetor needs to be rebuilt soon, but she is running. The first start up is here on my posts. I have cleaned her up too and I don't think I am going to change a thing with the paint or interior. I will put new tires on her and work on the engine and I thinks that's all I am going to do. I love her because she is original.., We realized after this video we had 2 bent and one broken pushrods..

Oldsmobile Cold Start Extravangza! pt 2
Here is As Promised here is another cold start video with not one, not two but three Oldsmobiles. From the 60's In part 2 I keep attempting to start the '68 and travel 300 miles back home to Detroit to fire up the '67 Delta 88. I forgot to mention that all 3 cars are Michigan Cars. The two Delmonts are original and the Delta has been restored. The delta features a 425 High Compression V8
