My 1967 Fastback Mustang
during the Nor-Cal Shelby Club Vintage Race. So much fun!!!
Recorded with two GoPro Hero cameras (Hero2 in the car and older Hero
outside). The outside camera was stuck to the bodywork with the 3M sticky
pads that come standard with the GoPro cameras! Unfortunately the
outside camera ran out of disc space, so the last bit of the race reverts
back to the in car camera.
There are a few more still pictures of the car at the end of the video.

Vintage Racing - 1950s Indy Cars startup and race. LOUD!!!
Chris Ashworth records a series of 1950s Indy Cars at Michigan
International Speedway. This was a vintage racing event that was associated
with the Concours d'elegance of America, where these cars were on display
after this event.
This event was incredible! I got to wander in the pits and the garage area.
You will hear these cars starting up right from the tailpipes, and you will
see them driving on the track from the pits.

My 67 Fastback Mustang
Again... This event was the first event with my new 3-link coil over rear
suspension that I designed. It worked extremely well and I expect it'll
get a tad better with a little more tuning. The front end now pushes real
bad - I'm assuming this is due to the spool in the rear end.
The spool worked quite well with the leaf spring suspension - but with the
rear tires in better contact with the ground the car wants to continue in a
straight line rather than turn in. The spool will be replaced before the
next event with a Half Tight DPI platinum LSD.
The miss shift between 6 and 7 was actually just an accidental shift into
neutral, so the 9k peak was just a free rev. The motor should be capable
of spinning near 10k with out trouble (not tested...) though it makes the
most power well before that.
