In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at the very rare and quite bold 1988 Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole. Only 658 examples were produced from 1988-1989 before the introduction of the Diablo. " The rear 'air boxes' were restyled and enlarged, while the vents behind them were changed so that they ran front to back instead of side to side. In addition, a new air dam and side skirting, both with air intakes, were fitted, and the taillights were restyled to be narrower, with body-colored panels replacing the upper and lower parts of the previous large taillights. The styling changes were unpopular with many, particularly since the intakes had strakes in them that appeared to mimic those on the Ferrari Testarossa, but they improved the engine's cooling, a problem the Countach had always struggled with. It also featured 345/35R15 tires; the widest tires available on a production car at the time " (Wikipedia). 1965 Ford Fairlane 500 289 2-door 3-spd Start Up, Exhaust, In Depth Review, and Test Drive
Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! YouTube's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at my 1965 Ford Fairlane 500 289. This particular model is known as the 2 door sedan due to the tall roofline and b-pillar, also known as a post car. I purchased this car in February 2011 with the dream of being able to fix up a car, restore it, and bring back to the original factory look. I'm a huge fan of classic cars and always have been. My grandfather "papa" instilled this in me a long time ago, as did my dad when he restored papa's '48 ford 2 door sedan back when I was little. This car is about 90% original and numbers matching with the original 289 cubic inch V8 (4.7L) and the original 3 speed manual on the column. It has an custom dual Exhaust (not sure what kind as it was already on the car when I bought it), not to mention original wheels, chrome, door panels, headliner, etc. I bought many items for this car because I wanted to "option it out" since it was a more "basic" fairlane 500. I will explain EVERY LITTLE detail about the car that you were curious about and probably more than you cared to know hahaha. I basically wanted to make this car look as it did from rolling out of the showroom, I collected original keys, documentation, brochures, an owner's manual and much more!
