Rare 1977 Pontiac Lemans Can Am - 6.6V8 Muscle Car
I thought you might like a look at this very rare 77 Pontiac Lemans Can Am. Originally, Pontiac had planned to build nearly 5,000 of these cars, but they ran into some problems with the mold that was used to make the ducktail spoilers. Instead of fixing the issue, they decided to call a halt to production. In the end, only 1377 Can Am's were built. They were packing a 6.6L 400 cu in V8, a Heavy Duty TH400 trans, and the RTS Rally Suspension Package. The horsepower wasn't amazing due to the low compression used at this point, but for the late 70's it was about as good as you could get. They are exceedingly rare and highly collectible. HERE ARE A COUPLE OF PULLS ON THE CHASSIS Dyno. IT WAS LATER DISCOVERED THAT WHEN THE CAR JUMPED THE ROLLERS IT BENT THE DRIVESHAFT. JUST ANOTHER PART BROKEN TO ADD TO THE SCRAP PILE.

There are loads of videos where people run an engine at full rev with no oil in it, and the engine seizes.
Running it a medium rev, I wanted to see how long it would run with no lubrication, and I was surprised.
However if the car was driving and the engine was under load, it would be dead in minutes!
