The 18-inch aluminum wheels look nice but you can upgrade to 20-inch or 22-inch wheels. The interior of the Suburban is very functional and you can upgrade to a higher trim level or add additional packages to meet your level of luxury. The 2012 Chevrolet Suburban can seat up to 8 or 9 passengers. There are modern conveniences like a driver information center complete with large screen and navigation. The seats are heated and cooled. There is also an nice DVD entertainment system for both the 2nd and 3rd row of passengers. The 2012 Chevy Suburban is motivated by a Vortec 5.3 liter V-8 engine that makes 320 horsepower and 335 lb-ft. of torque. The maximum towing capacity is 8100 lbs. There is a heavy duty trailering package available for only $230 that adds an oil cooler for the engine and an oil cooler for the transmission oil. The package also adds a 3.42 rear axle ratio. The Suburban has a couple of fuel saving techniques that include an Active Fuel Management system which turns-off 4 cylinders under light use.
