My 1970 Dodge Charger 500
So I get the Beast out of storage and whats the first thing to do? Let's
get on the highway and tear it up
'67 347 Mustang fastback vs '68 440 R/T Doge Charger.avi
American Sunday 2009 dragraces. One of my first runs ever down the
1/4-mile. Brand new home-build 347 was running great, but the C4 trans was
shifting in to 3rd 1200rpm early. We were both on street radials, and there
was no track prep, so 60ft's were in the 2.3's.
I managed to beat the 440 Charger (Performer RPM heads, Crower HFT cam,
headers, etc) 13.3@107MPH vs 14.2@99mph.
1968 Dodge Charger 440 R/T Rebuild
Here's a bunch of pictures showing the rebuild of my 68 Charger. It's now
road legal and drives superb. She has a late 440 with 727 Auto, Holley, and
40 series Flowmasters. She sounds SWEET !! :)
