428 Cobra Jet High Performance Engine Second Start
This is the second start for the brand new 428 cobra jet engine. The first
engine ad major issues, so this one was totally rebuilt. All that remains
from the original engine is the crank and block. Starting from the bottom
end the crank is 20-20 and balanced with the new eagle H beam rods and
flywheel, and clutch. Pistons are 040 with a slight dish for 9.70

How to Apply a Hood Stripe Decal
Applying decals is something that is technically possible for the average
person, but often not attempted for fear of "messing it up." In this
video, we watch an experienced professional install a tricky hood stripe on
a 1969 Mercury Cougar 428 CJ. He shows some of his methods, and emphasizes
that even for him, it can be a process of trial-and-error to get it right.
We have this and many other stripe kits on our website:

1968 Cougar 427 GT-E at Barrett-Jackson, Scottsdale 2011
This is the story of Brian Aust and his 1968 Mercury Cougar 427 GT-E. Over
the course of about 5 years, he undertook a painstaking restoration to
bring the car to the highest level he could, with a little help from his
friends (and lots of advice from folks on http://www.mercurycougar.net ).
On January 22, 2011, he drove it onto the auction block at Barrett-Jackson,
stepped out, and watched it sell for... well, you'll just have to watch to

I thought you'd like a look at this 1969 Ford Cobra. This particular car is
equipped with a balance and blueprinted 428 Super Cobra Jet. It also has
the drag pack with a four-speed tranny and 4.30 rear gears. It's looking
real tough in black on black and resembles Ford's Nascars from the time. I
hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching!
