Rat Rod Custom 1950 Mercury Rescue! - Roadkill Episode 21
It's always a good idea to buy a car off the Internet sight-unseen, right?
That's what a friend-of-a-friend of Roadkill did with the kustom Merc—and
maybe he made an even worse decision when he allowed Freiburger and
Finnegan to wrench on the thing and deliver it to him. This deal was set up
by a Roadkill fan, Jim Norman of Norman Vinyards in Paso Robles,
California. The road trip involves the '69 El Camino from Episode 4, The
Dog from Episodes 4 and 17, lots of burnouts with the guys from Hot Rod
Ranch - http://www.hotrodranchcustoms.com - and plenty of fun with Alex

Fuel Altereds - Gone But Not Forgotten
Pictures and movies that I took of some Fuel Altereds back in the '60s. The
most evil handling cars known to man, the fuel altereds were banned by NHRA
over 30 years ago. I was fortunate to get to see and photograph these
beasts in action. If you are interested in the history of these legendary
vehicles, check out these websites. They have hundreds of pictures (much
better than mine) and stories of these brave men and their machines.
For the soundtrack I'm jammin on Bad Company's Gone Gone Gone. I hope you
like it! Thanks for watching!

10,000 + Horsepower from a modern Top Fuel HEMI !
NHRA's Mike Dunn & Gary Gerold explain. Since 1964 still the engine of
choice for Nitro drag racing regaurdless of the bodystyle it's in. It's a
10,000 + horsepower HEMI design. The
only engine capable of producing that much horsepower to propel a car
to well over 330 mph in 1000 ft. The only engine design durable enough to
make that kind of power. Hands down the fastest cars and engine design on
earth! They are ALL HEMI design!
