1983 Yamaha XJ900-SST--Jig built for SST #2

1983 Yamaha XJ900 Seca SST #1 is being rebuilt after a minor get off. While fairing is out for paint my brother-in-law built a jig so we can build SST's for customers. SST #2 is shown after jig was used for fitment of brackets for welding. We engineered the fairing from 1982/83 Yamaha XJ650 turbo Seca to fit on the 83 Yamaha XJ 900. By so doing we have named our work SST for Standard Sport Touring. The Yamaha 900 Seca can easily be converted back to stock form if desired. Join us on Facebook at Yamaha 900 Seca.

Tip over damage of 1983 Yamaha XJ900 Seca-SST
Right after getting back from the 2012 Seattle Motorcycle Show I was backing bike out of driveway and lost my footing on wet slippery concrete. Lite damage to bike. Should have the 1983 Yamaha XJ900 Seca repaired in about a week. Ordered new turn signal cover, clutch lever from Speed and Sport, clear tank bra replaced and bike at WASCO Frame Sevice to have left muffler hanger bracket straightened.
