XJ220S REVIEWED ON TOP GEAR, CLARKSON
Find out more about this car from original press articles here:
Clarkson gets to drive the XJ220S, a lighter, more powerful and more
sporting version of the XJ220 (hardly a slouch). Gets to 100mph in second
gear. If you have seen EVO driving the XJ220 around the Nurburgring, you
can only imagine just how fast the XJ220S is - one of the fastest cars in
the world (probably).

Jay Leno became the first person outside Jaguar to drive the C-X75 on a
public highway, ahead of its North American Debut at the L.A. Auto Show.
Leno, a long-term Jaguar enthusiast, thinks that despite being so cutting

Release The Draguar! Building a Blown Jaguar Rat Rod - Roadkill Episode 7
On this episode of Roadkill, Freiburger and Finnegan do unspeakable things
to a '74 Jaguar XJ12, one of about 4,700 made. Namely, they cut a giant
hole in the hood and install a Weiand 6-71 Supercharger and twin Holley carburetors on the
350ci Chevy V8 that was already installed in the car when it was purchased
for $1,000. But things can never be easy, so the Supercharger installation is staged in the parking
lot of Gotelli Speed Shop in South San Francisco. Then the duo hits the
road, making their way to Sacramento Raceway, where they can finally
unleash "The Draguar" at the strip.
Roadkill appears every fourth Friday on the new Motor Trend channel.

The idea for the XJ220 was created out of a collaboration of engineers
known as "The Saturday Club". This was an informal group of gear heads that
included Jaguar chief engineer Jim Randle. Out of these meetings the
concept for the XJ220 was born.
Originally intended to utilize a V-12 engine, it was decided that a turbo charged V-6 (a first for Jag) would be
better suited, as more hp could be obtained by using this unit than the
