'67 Chevy Nova - Makin' A Run
Here's some of the lowdown on this car. My husband Johnnie, bought the car Sept. '06 with an old 400 motor. He had already ordered and rec'd a 383 with a 671 blower that was built per his specs. The motor was built by MAS Performance. It Dynoed 706 hp @ 7000 rpm. Johnnie installed the motor, turbo 400 transmission (built to handle up to 1100 hp), Mustang II front, 9" Ford rear, tubbed, and added 18" Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires, Crager SS wheels, 3" Flow Master Exhausts (from headers all the way back), etc., etc. Way too much other stuff for me to list here. The car has been repainted a candy Tangerine Orange (don't form an opinion until you see it) with ghost flames on the hood and a little something special on the trunk. Right now it's in the upholstery shop having all the interior redone. As soon as we get it back, I'll take an updated video and post it here. So 'till then....

Nova's blown 383
This is a blown 383 (706 hp) in a '67 Chevy Nova. This little video was taken the first time it was cranked. Still not drivable yet, because it's in the process of being tubbed right now. Gonna be a blast!!
UPDATE AS OF 11-14-07: All chrome, windshields, interior, etc. has been stripped and the car is in the paint shop. We should have it back soon and then it's on to upholstery shop. I took a couple pics of it yesterday and it's lookin' good. It's a metallic tangerine/orange candy. GRAB YOUR SUNGLASSES !!
My excuse for the picture quality of the video is that I had a new digital camera and didn't know much about how to work it yet.
Ultimate '67 Chevy Nova HOT Rod 1000HP+
This is the baddest muscle Nova I've ever seen. 160,000 spent. 632 c.i.d. 1000HP on motor, Nitrous, transbrake, best of the best. Remember to deploy the parachute when you run 160+mph in the quarter mile. 8 Second Nova.
