The driver and front passenger can relax into newly designed leather seats offering optimum lateral support and unbeatable long-distance comfort. The rear passengers, too, travel in luxury and are largely cocooned from outside noise. Individual seats are also available as an option for the rear and can be adapted to passengers' needs. And the optional Rear Seat Entertainment package with a new 9.2-inch flatscreen monitor ensures a refreshing diversion is always at hand over extended journeys. The new 1,200-watt Bang & Olufsen High End Surround Sound System delivers unimpeachable sound quality. Its 16 speakers include an illuminated centre speaker which retracts almost fully into the instrument panel.
In the new BMW 7 Series, the multifunctional instrument display behind the steering wheel takes its cues from the driver's needs. Extended black-panel technology opens up a whole new range of display options through the 10.25-inch screen. The instruments are now presented using different colours and graphics depending on the driving mode selected, and provide situation-specific information such as status and function displays.
The Control Display in the centre of the instrument panel has also benefited from visual and technical improvements and now uses high-resolution 3D graphics.

2014 Mercedes S-Class - assistance systems animation
Mercedes has officially unveiled the 2014 S-Class at the Airbus A380 delivery center in Hamburg, Germany.
Designed to become one of the most luxurious and advanced vehicles ever constructed, the 2014 S-Class has an evolutionary design that incorporates a sportier front fascia, a larger grille and a gentle slanting rear end. The sleek styling enables the model to have drag coefficient of 0.24 which is pretty impressive considering the pint-sized CLA has a drag coefficient of 0.23.

This is the E-class AMG model drag racing. It performed a time of 12.91 the first time with early braking and with a terrible start it performed 13.22 the second time.

Anzi di Classe A. non finisce di stupire e propone un altro entusiasmante capitolo nel romanzo popolare delle auto, ridisegnando il segmento delle compatte: sì, perché la Classe A cambia volto, da monovolume compatta si trasforma in una bella sportiva dalla forte personalità, che vuol far tendenza, magari di nuovo nel campo delle donne dove ha mietuto successi a ripetizione. I numeri ne fanno una star di prima grandezza, visto che è arrivata a una quota superiore al milione di unità vendute nell'arco di quindici anni attraverso due prestigiose generazioni. Dunque, sale alla ribalta una berlina sportiva a cinque porte, agile e dinamica come ha dimostrato nel test su strada nelle vicinanze di Roma riservato alla stampa, di essere comoda, prestazionale, decisamente bella da vedere. Colpisce lo sguardo con un grande spoiler e con un tetto panoramico apribile (a richiesta). E, in omaggio ai tempi moderni, è assai ricca di tecnologia: sfoggia persino il Collision Prevention Assist (sistema di assistenza alla guida mediante radar), persino il display-tablet che si integra con l'iPhone. Una missione non facile la sua, anche perché è destinata a sfidare tre connazionali di rango (Bmw Serie 1, Audi A3 e Golf Gti), ma soprattutto l'irresistibile Alfa Romeo Giulietta. La Classe A sarà in vendita a metà settembre nelle versioni Executive, Sport e Premium, con allestimenti Tech, Connect, Active: i prezzi partono da 22.900 euro (A 180 EFFICIENCY) e arrivano a 36.030 euro (A 250 Premium, top di gamma). Nel pre-lancio pacchetti in offerta col 40% di sconto.
