We thought we would take out the new 2013 Mazdaspeed3 with tec out for a review and test drive and give our thoughts on some of the features. Our speed had the emblems blacked out to match the black rear view mirror (new for 2013) and the gunmetal rims (new for 2013).

On this episode of Head 2 Head, it's the battle of the hot hatches as Carlos Lago pits the 2013 Ford Focus ST against a returning contender - the 2012 Volkswagen Golf R. Carlos hits the road and heads to the track but there is a slight problem with the Golf R and Carlos is forced to bring in the Subaru BRZ as a pinch hitter.

Mazda 3 MPS BL Beschleunigung 0 - 250 km/h
Servus Leute,
hier im Gegensatz zu meinem anderen Video sehr realistische Werte vom Mazda 3 MPS.
Bei 240 km/h war die 3km-Gerade zu Ende und es ging leicht bergauf, zudem hatte ich mit heftigen Seiten- und Gegenwinden zu kämpfen, die durch die herum wirbelnden Blätter gut zu erkennen sind. Die Höchstgeschwindigkeit wurde dann doch noch trotz der starken Winde auf einer leichten Bergabpassage erreicht.
Alles in allem ist der MPS ein echt geniales, zuverlässiges und vor allem alltagstaugliches Fahrzeug mit ordentlich BUMMS. ;)

Mazda hat den 3er in seiner stärksten Version geschärft. Im Vergleich zum Vorgänger darf er jetzt auch optisch auf die Pauke hauen. Die Trinksitten bleiben (leider) die alten.
