89 Trans Am 400 Burnout. I rebuilt this car from scratch.
1989 Pontiac Trans Am GTA with a Pontiac 6.6 400cid engine that has been
Completely balanced and blueprinted by "War Path Performance" in Opa
Locka, FL. Engine is well over 400 HP. This car is a rocket. Holly
4150 Performance Street Carb (770 cfm 4 barrel Avenger). Edelbrock
performer intake. MSD high energy distributor & coil. 8mm high
performance ignition wires. Ram Air powder coated D Port Manifolds. Ram
Air 3 Competition cam with triple coil competition rocker arms. 60 over
forged pistons. Ferrera Stainless steel valves with hardened valve seats &
3 angle valve job. High output 120 amp alternator. Ron Davis Racing
Radiator with 2500 cfm each fan. Optima Gel Cell High Amp Battery. turbo 350 transmission with 2500 Stall
Converter with Shift Kit which has been completely rebuilt. High torque
mini starter. True Dual Exhaust
flowmaster from front to back stainless steel front and rear vented
slotted disc brakes with high performance pads with all new wheel bearings
and seals. EVERYTHING THAT COULD BEEN DONE FOR THIS CAR .... HAS BEEN
1987 Trans Am First Start Up
This is my 87 Trans Am. It came with the boatanchor 305 v8 but I acquired
a 350. The 350 is bored .030 over and has forged pistons. The heads are
stock LO5 truck heads but I have a LT1 cam in it. All the TPI hardware is
from the 305 including the injectors AND computer. I put a thick washer in
the fuel pressure regulator to increase the fuel pressure to supply more
fuel for the 355. This is the first start up. Timing and tunning haven't
been dialed in yet. Open headers for now baby!
