Lexus LFA High Speed Sweeping Tunnel Pass ISF
More video's of the incredible Lexus LFA from my boy Jay-birds camera (iphone 3gs). He was driving my ISF (following) and got some video of us rolling through the streets of L.A. I also found a clip of me passing him like he is standing still inside of the tunnel. That tunnel was so much fun we did it twice. How did this all happen? Why was i driving a car like this? One day i got a tweet from Lexus HQ - they invited me down to drive the LFA for 30 minutes, for no reason other then to just come check it out. It turned out to be almost 2 hours. This car is CRAZY...the acceleration and the sound is like no other......V10, Tuned by Yamaha, no Supercharger, no turbo's.....all motor. How to Roll a Fender - Lexus ISF (Making room for wider tires)
**JUST SAY NO to the "baseball bat" trick!** This is the easiest, most accurate, proper way to get the job done. This is a 2011 Lexus ISF. My new, wider Pirelli tires came in a few weeks ago but i knew before i put them on, i would have to roll the fenders. In this video, you see exactly how to do it. I bought my roller off of Amazon.com but it can also be found at http://www.eastwood.com. The new tires are 235/30/20 (front, 9" wheels) and 285/25/20 (rear, 10" wheels). The wheels themselves are custom, 1-off 3 piece wheels made by AZA ( http://www.azaforged.com ). As it stands, even with the fenders rolled, the 285's in the rear barely clear and i could not use a spacer. I tried, it doesnt work, so dont bother asking. Don't forget to check out my website! I said "my car looks best under some lights INSIDE a building, so if you have room in the "booth", call me!".....well they didnt have very much room but they called me anyway and asked if i wanted to squeeze my ride in. Who am i to say no? haha! So a little Japanese Muscle wont hurt....and the car ended up getting a LOT of attention over the 3 days it was there. 2011 Lexus ISF - Black on Black - FIRST LOOK! FIRST START! (on video)
as most of you might know i was rear ended last Wednesday morning and my Pearl White Lexus IS250, my baby girl, was totaled. I have a great insurance company, Progressive, who took care of it quick......they handled my case for me and were reimbursed by the responsible persons insurance (the person who rear ended me @ 40mph click here for video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Js28eZhVPs . They were extremely fast. Anyway, they paid it off, gave me the balance, and as soon as i got my money i went right to the Lexus dealership with thoughts of an IS350 or even better the ISF! Well as you can see, i got very lucky! Anyway i have more video of me getting on the gas pretty hard for a short burst just to show you what the SICK 8 speed tranny is all about. Oh the motor too of course. This thing is a BEAST! Subscribe to see this thing in action!
