this is a comparison of the two on an '87 firebird with a 305. the flowmaster has a harmonized sound because of the dual outlet so try to keep that in mind. unfortunately im stupid and dont know the brand of glasspack nor the series of muffler.

Loud Chevy 350 Straight Glasspack Exhaust
1991 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado reg cab short box 4x4, 350 5.7L TBI, posi rear end, 20k on built trans 70k on motor. 3in glasspack at the downpipe and 10 feet of 2 inch O.D. straight back after that. no cats. This vid was from the day after install. Not even broken in.

Small Block Chevy 406, 11:1 compression, Crane Solid Roller Camshaft, Brodix heads with 2.05- 1.60 titanium valves, Eagle 4340 Crank, Eagle H beam Rods, Manley Forged pistons, Victor Jr Intake manifold, 850 Holley DP, K&N air filter, Moroso 7 qt. pan, 1 7/8 headers, BE COOL radiator with dual 13 inch fans, MSD distributor, MSD coil and MSD 6AL box.
Exhaust - Flowmaster 3 inch Scavenger Pipe
General Lee 69 Charger with Flowmaster 40's Exhaust system: 2.5" dual with Flowmaster 40's is way to loud for me! Resonates badly from interior and is loud enough to anger the neighbors just getting out of the driveway. I've switched to Flowmaster 50 SUV and will post results here soon. Still sounds great but interior sound level is much improved!

Cherry Bomb Sound Video 1985 Chrysler New Yorker Turbo
This is my 1985 Chrysler New Yorker turbo I and my $30 muffler job. Kept the stock Exhaust tip, strapped on a $23 cherry bomb Exhaust, $7 worth of hanger and clamps used beat up tooth missing hack saw and a half hour of my time. Sounds pretty decent in my opinion. What do you think?
