iRacing.com - Mazda MX-5 at Laguna Seca
Great first race of the season in the Grand Touring Cup series racing the MX-5. Started 2nd in my class. First laps were a little sketchy, almost lost control a couple times and my speaker feel of the top of my monitor twice lol. After the traffic settled down I was cruising in 3rd while Carl and George battled for the lead. Carl left me and George to battle for second. I was trying my hardest to get past George, but he was having none of it by placing his car right where I needed to go. With about 8 minutes to go George and I had multiple side by side racing, but I could never carry my momentum to finish the pass. George did an awesome job staying focused, I was just waiting for him to make the slightest mistake. Good clean racing.
