02-04 Trailblazer fuel filter replacement (4.2 I6)
How to replace the fuel filter in your 02-04 I6 Trailblazer/Envoy.
NOTE: 05s and up do not have a serviceable fuel filter.
The manual calls for replacement every 30K miles, however I do them once a year.
I also discuss how a restricted fuel filter has caused a mpg loss several times over the last few years. My experience has proven that the fuel filter can hurt mpgs.
Only two more maintainence items to go for the Trailblazers! Stay tuned!!!

Install a Cabin Air Filter in the Chevy Trailblazer or GMC Envoy
Recently found out online that the Chevy Trailblazer and GMC Envoy have provisions to install a Cabin Air Filter, but it appears GM never did. On this afternoon I was going to do this simple modification when I decided I'd shoot a quick video at the same time showing the process. It's pretty straight forward in the early year models but does require some slight fabrication to open up the slot for the filter. Total modification cost is the price of the filter used (or any modification costs), and takes less time than this video explaining it.
