E55 v. M5 from a Dig
Here's a video of a fun little run MJ50 and I had at an airstrip (which wasn't prepped and was pretty damn dirty)... We really couldn't do more runs b/c of certain conditions, but this was just for shits and giggles.
The M5 had bald rear tires (that's why we were doing the run, it was supposed to get new tires a couple hours afterwards), you'll see during the movie, that it didn't get any traction from the start and it started to go sideways, so I had to let off a bit. Also, springs and sways were just installed on the M5 a few days prior and it desperately needs an alignment (which is already scheduled).
The E55 is heavily modded and the M5 is lightly modded, the result would have been a win for the E55 no matter what.
And yes, I do need a new video camera. Thanks for the camerawork, SoCalCLK!
BMW M5 with Eisenmann RACE Exhaust INSANE Acceleration!!!!
I record a friends M5 that was fitted with eisenmann Exhaust and powder black rims. The car tookoff WOT and the sound was AMAZING! Listen to the end as you can still hear it after he gets around the corner.

I Made MANY runs on several days.I wanted to reach a conclusion on which beast is the fastest !
and the conclusion i reached IS:
1) below 120mph(200km/h) :they are pretty much EVEN (who ever gets the lead first keeps it)
2)above 120mph(200km/h) :the M5 clearly has an advantage and ALWAYS starts pulling away slowly but constantly,especially after engaging 6th gear.Hp and gearing advantage in the M5 begin to show.
and by the way, i love BOTH cars so i'm not biased to any of them,that's why i made more than 20 runs on several days to eliminate any errors.

BMW M3 E92, Racing at TOP SPEED 0-300KMH with Full Throttle
Dutch race car driver driving on the Autobahn. The brand new white BMW M3 DCT struggles to reach it's stop speed of 330+ KMH. The car had 250Kg balast in the trunk and a strong head wind. I'll Make a new vid later ! :D

I do not know why this M3 was so fast, usually i was beatin e46´s (or even e90´s) M in straight line much more easily:) M.
