Russian "Amphibious" Helicopter
Mail attachment 20070214092403
NOTE: This is obviously an unfortunate accident and I have no details on
what nor when this happened.
I'm not trying to say anything about Russia nor Russian pilots. There's
good and bad professionals everywhere in the world, there's technical
issues also anywhere and accidents (due to either) also may happen anywhere
at anytime to anyone, unfortunately.
As with all my videos on this channel, this was just one of those videos
that I got through email.
In 2008 it was still common practice to send videos instead of linking to
To fight this trend, I would usually upload to Youtube the received video
and then pass along just the link to friends instead of re-sending the
video as an attachment, which was stupid and needlessly demanding for the
email servers involved.

Real Man's 4WD Track
A Land Rover Defender drives up a "Real Man's" 4WD track.
One brave soul attempted it in a Landcruiser but failed before even getting
both sets of wheels on the ramp. He is currently at home trying to fix his
The video was taken at the Maitland 4WD & Camping Show 2009 and the
ramp is 5.5M above the ground.
The majority of the drive is done with the driver seeing nothing but sky.
Kawasaki 48 Cylinder Runs!
Quick clip of the Worlds largest multi Cylinder Motorcycle, this 48
cylinder bike was built by my pal Simon Whitelock - here it is at the
Triples Rally in 2004 - it is actually 49 cylinder as the initial sound is

"Brutus" race car - 750hp 46L V12 1908
"Brutus" from Germany at Concours d'élégance Paleis Het Loo, Apeldoorn,
An extraordinary vehicle that was constructed in the Auto & Technik MUSEUM
SINSHEIM's workshops under the project name "Brutus", is - like the Maybach
special racing car - also following the tradition of the Blitzen-Benz.
After WW I many aircraft engines were available since Germany was not
allowed to own aircraft. These engines were installed on old undercarriages
and used to perform races. An undercarriage with chaindrive of 1908 was
being used as a basis for the "Brutus" project. A 12-cylinder aircraft
engine with 46 liters displacement and a constant performance of 500 hp at
1500 rpm or 750 hp at 1700 rpm, that was located in Spain by our club
member Hans Dittes, was mounted on top. The attraction of this vehicle is
not least due to the fact that it is going to reach a speed of far beyond
100 km/h at about 800 rpm only. After several years of hard work the
vehicle was completed. It already was presented in action at many events.
Tim Cotterill " The Frogman", Rocket 2 Trike. Size Does Matter
Was driving on the PCH in Malibu, when I saw Tim on this beast getting
ready for a cruise... He designed the whole thing. It's an all aluminum,
hand built body. Suspension is all original designed out of steel. 1200hp,
supercharged (obv). The front wheel is a custom machined 1 piece 2 tire
