The Ram 1500 Express [S5 Ep.8-1]
Two of the biggest complaints that people have about the new Car
manufacturers today, is that they don't build the cars and trucks people
want, and what they do build is too expensive. Well, never fear because
today on GEARZ, Stacey introduces the new Ram 1500 Express that has a 390
Hemi in a short bed, regular cab truck, and an price tag that will have you
rubbing your eyes and pinching yourself to see if it is true. Better yet,
there is a huge aftermarket out there to help you build a one of a kind
vehicle. In 1968, Plymouth stood the muscle car world on its ear with the
incredible Road Runner. In 2011,Mopar has done it again with the Ram 1500
Express...and GEARZ has the very first one... BEEP...BEEP!!!
dodge ram 1500 exhaust stacks magnaflow 4" race muffler
So I got pulled over last weak for being to loud so I decided to try a
slightly bigger muffler. Its a magnaflow round race muffler # 14163. Now
this is first start up and it still needs the 1200 mile break in so its
pretty quiet. Ill make a new vid once its broken in.

magnaflow 24 on a 2010 dodge ram 1500
I finally installed a 24 inch Magnaflow muffler on my truck and I thought
it would be helpful for other people to hear this in order to best choose
which muffler is best for them. I had little idea what this was going to
sound like cause there are only 2 other videos of people running the 24
inch muffler on a 4th generation ram 1500. I had a muffler shop put it on
for me instead of buying the Mufflex dod24m kit which I think is the way to
go I actually saved close to $80 doing so, plus I know it's on their good.
I have maybe put 10 miles on it so far and I like it very much but it is
not a whole lot louder than stock, probably about one and a half times
louder. It's more of a deeper tone than stock which I am starting to like.
My favorite thing about it is how it not only sounds awesome when you put
your foot into it but when you don't want to listen to it you can just back
up a bit and its almost not noticeable at all more like a low rumble. If
you want to hear it all the time I would suggest getting the 18 or even the
14. If you have any questions please leave a comment I will try to check
them every now and then.
2010 Mustang v6 Magnaflow quad exhaust
Transformed my stock 2010 v6 into something completely different.
It took a lot of time effort.......and money to get this all completed.

quad tip axle back hooked up to pypes x pipe/mid pipe kit. Nothing was a
direct fit so it turned into a complete custom hook up.
I knew before buying the axle back that nothing would (directly) fit. As
long as you (or a shop) have a way to cut and weld metal, anything fits.
So, that being said, yes, this kit fits 2010s even though it specifies
Along with this I have a Bama 93 octane race tune.
Custom trim/exterior painting done by myself using plastidip.
I painted rims, decklid, door handles, spoiler, grille, side mirror covers,
hood accents with pin stripes.
Tinted tail lights and headlights using VHT night shade.
Also used Rustoleum and painted my side skirts. (hardly noticeable but I
can tell lol)
Performance Muffler Upgrades [S2 Ep. 4-4]
In the world of hot rodding, when gear heads gather around and start
discussing their projects, invariably the conversation drifts into
speculation of what the smallest thing is that you can successfully put a
V8 engine in. Well today on GEARZ, Stacey pretty much puts an end to that
speculation by building a V8 powered BARSTOOL!! It's part go-cart... part
garden tractor... part insane... and ALL hot rod. Which of course is what
GEARZ is all about! If you like WILD.. then you don't want to miss this
show! Then Stacey dives into some Muffler Tech to show you what kind of
mufflers there are on the market, and give you some tips that might help
you make the right decision when the time comes to stick some cool mufflers
on your machine!
2010 Dodge Ram 5.7 Hemi - Stock Muffler vs Magnaflow 18" Comparison
Just a comparison video on all the scenarios I wanted to see when I was
researching mufflers. I hope this will help people who are in need of help
like I was.
The stock muffler was cut out and a Magnaflow 18" was stuck in its place.
Single exhuast with factory resonator still in place.
To be honest, I wish the muffler was louder. At Idle, you can barely hear
it, and at WOT it sounds a lot like the stock muffler. I think only the
city driving sound has improved, as it sounds really nice taking off from a
stop at about 1/4-1/2 throttle. One thing to not overlook is that it DOES
drone. The reason I went with Magnaflow after all was because everyone said
it does not drone. I would've gone with the Flowmaster if I had known
But I am very happy with it overall. I'll give it a few months to see how
much louder it gets, and see if there is any better performance or MPGs
from the swap. So far, I can't tell. Here is a link to the exact muffler I
Mustang MagnaFlow Catback Exhaust Kit and X-Pipe Installation 1999-2004
This MagnaFlow Stainless Steel Catback Exhaust Kit with 3.5" Exhaust Tips is for 1999-2004 Cobra Mustangs. It's made from 2.5"
madrel-bent, 100% stainless steel tubing, and will give your Mustang a smooth, deep Exhaust tone, while also giving you performance
gains in horsepower and torque.
MagnaFlow X-Pipe 2.5" Off-Road V8 1999-2004:
MagnaFlow's off-road X-pipe is made from 2.5" madrel-bent, 100% stainless
steel tubing and is designed for use with stock manifolds or shorty
headers. Included is all required mounting hardware.
For installation, first begin by removing the factory Exhaust system and factory H-pipe. Then, remove
the stock catback and tailpipe from the hanger, removing the factory
tailpipe. Move the oxygen sensors from the old H-pipe to the new X-pipe,
and you're ready to secure the X-pipe up into place.
Next, begin putting into place the new catback Exhaust, including the mufflers, tailpipes, and
Exhaust tips. Reconnect the sensors,
and your install is finished. Total installation takes around four hours.
