PONTIAC ALLEY with "T.K."/ Buick 455 Stage-1 Regal TCI Shifter Update #7. 7-16-2011

Tyrone gave me "demos" regarding utilizing this TCI Street-Fighter Mega-Shifter. It was so-freaking-funny (Much Respect, Tyrone LOL) hearing Tyrone make the "PONTIAC" engine sounds during his demo!!! T.K. is "Too-Cool!!!" I remember when I had the type energy T.K. has ... and I really miss it. Apparently, he is going to follow in his Father's foot-steps ... and go PONTIAC also. The next video shows my shifter plate "template" in place. SO-FAR-SO-GOOD!!!

PONTIAC ALLEY with "T.K."/ Buick 455 Stage-1 Regal TCI Shifter Update #8. 7-16-2011
The TCI shifter looks DEVASTATING!!! Tyrone did a perfect install ... considering there were parts MISSING ... apparently Giovanni's shop "mis-placed" them. After the "TCI" became "a-walk-in-the-park-to-me," I decided to raise the "idle" on the Holley750 by 100-rpm. The Stage-1 refused to turn over! The starter was NOT engaging. I immediately "knew" it had to be the orange-thinner-gauge wire I used on the starter ... instead of the THICKER GAUGED RED WIRE I was supposed to use. This video shows that thin/incorrect wire "melted" onto the TA Exhaust header tube. Tomorrow after work ... I am correcting this. I have the correct wire now. The aluminum plate for the TCI shifter column will be purchased next weekend ... and I will then be able to mount the (Park, Reverse, etc) shifter plate securely. NEXT-STOP; BRAND-NEW HOLLEY 850-CFM from Holley.com!!!!!

My Stage-1 Buick 455 Regal's James McClinton mini-starter Re-Wiring! 7-17-2011
The James McClinton mini-starter (PERFECT UNIT) was re-wired with the correct gauge of wire. Also, the positive battery cable was rubbing the TA headers also. This was all corrected by me. The TCI Shifter looks devastating!
