First, I would like to say thanks to Ray "Peak Completions" Hofman for letting Underground Racing build him yet another monster. Also, I want to thank the Underground Racing Team for building such a bad ass street car and the fastest and quickest Lamborghini Gallardo, by far, anywhere. John Reed did a great job as usual with his Motec setup and KC with Dyno and track side tuning. With our marketing team busy gearing up for TI and SEMA there wasn't much time to spare for putting together a video like we usually do, so we came up with this short teaser. Watch out for the full track video and more info to be released about this Superleggera build coming soon.
This Twin turbo Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera was built to be a street car and also to run the standing mile. Ray said, "Do ANYTHING you want to it! As long as it drives like a street car and is the baddest Gallardo on the planet!" So we built him a Race version that makes 1,750+ WHP. Having 1,100 WHP on tap using pump gas, he can drive it anywhere and it will operate as smoothly as our regular Stage 3 street builds.
We decided we needed the car to launch just in case we ever sent the car to Russia for the Moscow 500 or any other timed event. For a timed event, it must have launch control for the best ET, which prior mile cars didn't need when just going for high MPH. We ended up at the dragstrip to set up and test the launch control and check out some 60' times. After we got it dialed in, I couldn't help but make a few full passes and ended up with some killer results as you will see in this teaser video. With only a small amount of test time, the best 60' thus far is 1.5, so we have a lot of room for improvement with a better tire and some other tricks not yet applied to this build.
During this process we have also tested some new parts that are only available exclusively through Underground Racing: the new RPS carbon/carbon clutch which is working great and is very streetable, the new FULL billet race differential and our new "Quiet" Helix Billet 1st - 6th gear set and final drive gears. Thanks to Guy at HRE Wheels for the 18" wheels they sent us to run the Hoosier 335-30-18 drag radials. The ONLY wheel we trust at these speeds are HREs. Our transmission is a full "factory synchronized" transmission that uses all of the OEM E-Gear operating system.
I know a lot of you guys are wondering about track time with the Underground Racing TT Aventador, and its time has come. We have just been so busy with this Superleggera project and many other things that have taken all of our "extra" time lately. Rest assured that we will be at the track again soon with both cars.

Underground Racing is proud to release the first Twin turbo Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. Our team was very eager to get started with an Aventador project since it was first released from Lamborghini. Once this Aventador made it to Underground, we quickly began to engineer the TT system and full build for this amazing platform. Countless hours of R&D and hard work went into this project. We spent a lot of time driving and studying the inner workings of the Aventador, and this platform is amazing, but it still seemed to be missing something- acceleration. The kind you can only get from a friend I call, Boost!
No doubt the Aventador is much more advanced than the Murcielago and even the LP Gallardo. It seems that the factory really tried to make it hard for the aftermarket world to modify the Aventadors though. However, the Underground Racing team moved quickly through the road blocks that exist. For now, the UR TT Aventadors will only be released with FULL engine builds. Through our research, we have found certain conditions that make this a requirement.
Now that the project is complete, I have to say this is truly one amazing car with the addition of the UR twin turbo build. We clocked the TT Aventador 0-60 mph time in 2.2 seconds on OEM street tires, normal air pressure and on a regular road. This Aventador drives just as it did in stock form, just a lot faster. The Aventador shifting is amazingly fast and we were also able to pick up a bit faster shift time with our Quickshift upgrade.
The Underground Racing TT LP700 system is a true work of art. Unfortunately, due to several attempts by other tuners to build knock off versions of our systems, only limited portions of information and images of the turbo system will be shown. As always, doing what only Underground Racing does with a Twin turbo Lamborghini, we plan to see how far we can push the limits of the TT Aventador at several types of events with our demonstration TT Aventador. I've had quite the week in terms of cars, the highlights being seeing 5 Veyrons (1 Vitesse, 1 Super Sport, 1 Grand Sport, 2 coupes) and seeing THIS 1,500 horsepower Underground Racing twin turbo LP560-4 Gallardo destroy the Beverly Hills streets.
Onto the video, some may recognize the title from another video, I've altered it a bit to fit this scenario ;) This car is absolutely ridiculously insanely FAST, as well as it is loud... It set off some car alarms and probably hit 80+ mph on some of those pulls! And, well listen to those turbos!!! Anyways, watch the video and please, TURN UP THE SPEAKERS! Enjoy!

READ: Amy and I were bored the other day so we decided to finally fill up the Underground Racing Twin turbo Lamborghini Gallardo with 110 octane race fuel. The car was running at 20PSI which it made 1,222AWHP (See Dyno Graph: http://razzi.me/p/66649).

Twin Turbo Lamborghini Gallardo's drag - UGR and Heffner
Here is a couple passes from these two TT Gallardos that were at the track friday night. Unfortunately we don't have much info on either car, and they were running "no-times". They very much like their numbers in the dark. What is your guess on what they ran and how much power they are making??
