BA XR6 Turbo BF F6 Tornado Engine Quarter mile race
First time to the Western Sydney Dragway. With the silliest 1/4 (quarter mile) time. I was expecting at least low 12s quarter miles with this kind of setup. But, the transmission was slipping like hell. However, I did high 13s :( Curse u the crappy 4-speed BTR in BA. This transmission was not suitable for XR6 turbo. It should have been ZF 6-speed since the day one. 2nd run time was worsened instead of improved.

After running a 12.2 @ 121mph and a 12.06, I finally got my 60 foot time
down to 2.09 seconds and it resulted in a new PB of 11.949!

I shifted it in manual mode - didn't try leaving it in auto for any runs
tonight. I let it slide onto 6000rpm on the 2-3 and 3-4 shifts which was a
bit late I think. Didn't see where I shifted to second it happens too
That gets me booted until I get some safety gear :)
Dedicated to my dad who filmed me running the 13.59 earlier this year but
who passed away a month ago. Your XW GT had more style I have to say but
it was never this quick, I know you would be impressed, RIP.

the record with an 8.4 at 166mph, but the boys had some problems getting it
down the track at Jamboree and only (??) managed a couple of 9.1sec runs at
over 160mph. It's a beast of a thing with a massive GT47R turbo. How soon until we see a 7sec pass from an
XR6 turbo is Australia?

F6 Typhoon quarter mile in car
FPV F6 Typhoon in car run. Still needed to get the start right to get into
the low 11's which I have now done. Hey, on a big screen it looks great.
I love my 450kW 900+nm torque FPV F6 Typhoon (BF), however that run was
quite slow as I messed up the start with way too much wheel spin and ran
about a 13.6, which is crap
