BA XR6 Turbo BF F6 Tornado Engine Quarter mile race

First time to the Western Sydney Dragway. With the silliest 1/4 (quarter mile) time. I was expecting at least low 12s quarter miles with this kind of setup. But, the transmission was slipping like hell. However, I did high 13s :( Curse u the crappy 4-speed BTR in BA. This transmission was not suitable for XR6 turbo. It should have been ZF 6-speed since the day one. 2nd run time was worsened instead of improved.

After running a 12.2 @ 121mph and a 12.06, I finally got my 60 foot time down to 2.09 seconds and it resulted in a new PB of 11.949! Car details: Ford Falcon 2007 XR6turbo (BFII) Mods: Nizpro Intercooler (retaining stock crossover/plenum) Full Manta off the shelf turbo back Exhaust in twin 2.5 inch mild steel 42lb Bosch "green top" injectors Intank Walbro GSS 294 pump replacement F6 secondary air intake (stock snorkle removed to make room for cooler piping) One Custom BP 98 fuel tune from Simon at Xtreme Ford Tuning!! - 6 speed ZF gearbox (stock, shift pressures firmed up via tune) I shifted it in manual mode - didn't try leaving it in auto for any runs tonight. I let it slide onto 6000rpm on the 2-3 and 3-4 shifts which was a bit late I think. Didn't see where I shifted to second it happens too fast! That gets me booted until I get some safety gear :) STOKED! Dedicated to my dad who filmed me running the 13.59 earlier this year but who passed away a month ago. Your XW GT had more style I have to say but it was never this quick, I know you would be impressed, RIP.
