2003 Dodge Neon SXT Magnaflow Catback dual exhaust
This is my 2003 Dodge Neon SXT with my Magnaflow catback Exhaust and I am doing a sound test so the other
peeps on NastyNeons.com can hear what a 2.0L sounds like with the Magnaflow
since some of them would like to hear it here is the vid.
I also have a CAI, UP, MSD coil, MSD wires.
1996 Dodge Neon SRT-4 Exhaust
Daily driver 1996 Dodge Neon with a rebuilt 2.0l engine fitted with full
This engine was rebuilt to STOCK specifications by ME.
Engine developed rod knock, full rebuild cost around $700, new head being
the most expensive of the parts at $235 shipped.
Full SRT-4 Exhaust system:
- Stock Exhaust Manifold
- High Flow Catalytic Converter
- Stock Resonator with 2" pipes and exiting 4" Exhaust tips
- To fit this system on first gen neons, use your stock downpipe (same
diameter as SRT-4's). What will need to be changed is the section which
goes over your rear suspension. It will need to be cut out, and custom
fitted. I did not attach the hanger in that section and I am having no
problems whatsoever. I would suggest fitting the dual Exhaust section up where you want it before you
have someone make the custom fitting over the suspension. The hangars for
the dual section will need to be cut and rewelded, or you can make your

- New Main Bearings
- New Rod Bearings
- All New Seals
- New Oil Pump
- New Water Pump
- Clutch replaced less than 2k miles ago
- Timing Belt replaced less than 5k miles ago
- Aftermarket Spectre 4" air filter attached to stock intake pipe
- Timing Belt Cover removed (front and back)
- Coolant Reservoir removed
- Engine and engine bay were cleaned up while I had the chance.
