Here's a video of our Challenger during the 25 mile street drive before we competed in the Mopar Muscle Challenge at the Year One Experience. We had the race pulley on and the race Exhaust on for the cruise. Just before we raced we put the race tires on. Check back here, on our website and in Mopar Muscle Magazine for more details!
SLANT 6 Mopar or No Car!
Mopars and very attractive women.....Mopars Kicking ASS! What more can you
If you like what you hear, come and visit me at CDBaby!
In case anyone is curious, yes, I've owned tons of Mopar products! There
is a SRT4 in my driveway right now. I've had Coronet R/T's, Challenger RT,
Demon's, 300's, SRT8's, I love em all! And I have no problem with other
cool Musclecars. I even own a Buick with a V6 that is fairly
quick......However....I loves me Mother Mopar!
I'm back in the old school! I have a "NEW" 70 Coronet R/T! Burnt
Orange/White interior numbers matching, bla bla bla bla!!! Will post pics
of it in my new Mopar song. Yeah, I'm doing another one, yeah I'm corny!
Actually 2 tunes. One, I penned back in the mid 80's called Red Light. It
was about my 69 R/T.
Dodge Challenger Slow motion Wheelie
1974 Dodge Challenger Slomo Wheelie vid. Santa Pod 2010 eurofinals. By
Blackett Photography. Here the car is powered by a 572ci Wedge motor. Runs
mid 9's @ full weight (3850lb +). To make the caltracks work you need
plenty of front end lift, bump stops were removed and frames notched to get
almost 6 1/2 inches of travel. Something Chrysler never designed that
suspension for I'd guess. We've since improved the bump steer by replacing
parts and resetting the camber / castor as the front has aftermarket parts
and plenty of adjustment.
In reality it's difficut to fully eliminate without going to a strut type
front end, though some people appear to have done it on stock stuff, it
seems to be a common chrysler trait. Check out the superstock video's from
the '70s and most Mopars do it also check out my other real time wheelie
vids you see that the wobble lasts only a fraction of a second.
Thanks for the comments.

Challenger: Faster than a Speeding Bullitt?
The rebirth of the American muscle car is about a lot more than retro. It's
about pride. It's about recalling a time when Americans looked down the
road to the future with confidence, and they wanted a great big V8 engine
to get them there as soon as possible.
It's no wonder the 2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt has our respect. It's
the best version yet of the 2005 Ford Mustang, the car that set Detroit on
fire again with enthusiasm for good old American muscle. Maybe the
fuel-guzzling muscle car won't save Detroit from the challenge to build
cars that people need, but it's surely restored the domestic car industry's
confidence in its ability to do so. And it's shown that Americans can build
cars that are utterly unlike anything you'll find in Stuttgart, Shanghai,
Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur or any of those other places that economists think
they're so clever to know about.
Now that the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 is here, Chrysler is cracking the
seal on its own Mopar-branded can of muscle-car whoop-ass to show that it
understands what's at stake in the muscle-car sweepstakes. The Bullitt and
the Challenger are the two coolest cars in America, and it's only natural
to bring them together.
