Testing Electric Vehicles in the Real World -- Edmunds.com
It wasn't too long ago that if you wanted an electric vehicle, you'd end up with something like a golf cart. Now they're over ten different choices available that range in size, price point, as well as power. We wanted to get as many of them together to see what they're like to drive in the real world.
We ran a Tesla Model S, Toyota RAV4 EV, BMW ActiveE, Coda EV Sedan, Honda Fit EV, Ford Focus BEV, a VW Golf EV prototype, 2011 Nissan Leaf, and a Mitsubishi i MiEV though a 105.5 mile test loop to find out.

2012 Tesla Model S Charging
Tesla's electric Model S combines unprecedented driving range and quick charging times. Thanks to the many different plug adapters, you have flexibility over how quickly the Model S can charge. Standard Level 1 charging at home can take up to 12 hours, while a special 240v plug can return up to 30 miles per hour of charging, eliminating the need to install a costly Level 2 home charging unit. With advanced technology comes issues, however. Cars.com Reviewer Joe Wiesenfelder takes a look at some of the grievances that bothered him like the unique door handles, obnoxious seat-bottom weight sensors and charging port door.

Tesla Model S VS Bmw M5 2013
I made this video, of 2 great cars, by editing other clips on YT.
The winner for me is the Model S, for reasons beyond the ones you guys can see (it's a green car, doesn't need 100€ to fill up, etc...)
I think the M5 is better on track, 3 sec or more, at least. But a company founded in 1917 (BMW) should have an huge advantage, when compared to one founded in 2003 (Tesla)
