This is my goofy ass at 16 lol back in august or september of 08... id love to post more recent videos since i got the new KA swapped in about a month and a half ago (improved a ton), but sad to say the car is totalled as of 4-20-09 =( Its being parted out and im saving up for a new one, and im gonna come back twice as hard now that i have the experience and im a little wiser and smarter than i was when i was 16 LSD = limited slip differential finally got the j30 vlsd in, and i got some free steelies to put the random tires i had laying in my garage to some use or more like completley killed them not the best drifting but whatever ive only been driving for 4 months so dont hate i know i need to work on earlyer initiations, thats what im gonna work on when i go to the skidpad and the track again

Basically, this video starts the second day after I bought the car. I bought it as you see in the video with a welded diff, coilovers, mismatched wheels and some other "goodies". The goal is to drift and build the car. If the video seems a bit tedious it's because I wanted to include everything I did to the car so that way people understand how much work actually goes into these cars. In-Car Camera: Stock Power 240SX @ Drift Event
Here I am at Kil-Kare Raceway, driving at one of USDrift's 2006 events. The footage here consists of two of my early runs. I made several good runs that event, but unfortunately I didn't have extra camera batteries and they ran out before I could get footage of a single clean run. The car is a *stock power* 240SX with not so much as an intake, Exhaust, or air filter changed from factory settings. The suspension has been improved: including alignment, coilovers, tie rods, rod ends, strut bars, and tires. This car came from the factory with a viscous LSD and SuperHicas 4 wheel steering. I'm far from the best driver out there, but this video makes a compelling arguement that 4 wheel steering does not hinder a car's ability to drift as much as some less-informed users of forums would have you believe. Please forgive the Initial: D music(if that's not your thing) and job I did with the video, this is my first time using a video editor. Hopefully you'll agree that I know the difference between Initial: D and actual driving. =p More clips may be posted in the future, enjoy!

Here's a brief video showing what a welded diff has the capability of doing. KA-Engine is basically stock. Nothing too crazy, but you can see how easily it is to lock up the rear tires.
