MGC GT Sebring w/ 1JZ powerplant
Alex Washburn's tribute to the MGC GT Sebring's that raced at Sebring 12 Hours in 1968/69, built by Bill @ DSG. To keep the sound of a straight 6 we chose a cost effective 1JZ turbo Toyota powerplant/R154 transmission instead of a costly/heavy Rover tractor engine. Suspension is double wishbone in front and Ford 8.8, 3 Link with Watts Linkage in the rear. Dampers are Penske 8670 3 ways from a 96 MSD Accord BTCC (David Leslie's hopefully). An Apexi PowerFC will be tuned by Matt @ DSG in the upcoming weeks but the engine running is a very nice sound after the work and time invested.
