My cavalier 2.2 4cyl stock Automatic. Good cars not the fastest thing around but not the slowest the automatic transmission is not my first choice but standard was not available at the time for as cheep as i got this car

When this car first showed up it had been in a minor collision, it had slid off the road into a curb. I found a damaged wheel but I also found that it would not drive down the road properly and the steering wheel was way off. I concluded that the power steering rack had been damaged. This is part 1 of the replacement of that broken power steering rack. On a scale of 1-10 I would say the difficulty level of this one is about a 7 so be prepared for a bit of a fight if you need to do this job. In addition to the Cavalier this video should also apply to other GM vehicles of this same size, the Pontiac Sunfire comes to mind as well as the equivalent Buick and Olds offerings. Chevy Cavalier Pontiac Sunfire End Link and Front Swaybar Bushing Replacement
In this video I am showing how to replace the end links and front sway bar bushings on a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. This should also pertain to the Pontiac Sunfire. Over time the hard rubber grommets and bushings become brittle and cracks which leads to a sluggish feel in turns and knocking and tapping noise. By replacing these items it should help get rid of those problems. Sorry this is long but hope it helps. Thanks for watching!
