AMS Alpha 12 GT-R: Full Weight 8 Second Street Car
Another AMS R35 GT-R completes an 8 second 1/4 mile pass! This particular GT-R is owned by our dear friend and customer, Tim Sanders. Our fans should know that Tim has been a part of the Alpha GT-R program since its early stages of development. In fact, without his passion and support of the GT-R and our program, neither would be as far as they are today in terms of performance. We sincerely thank you Tim Sanders for being a part of our efforts with the R35 GT-R!
On July 12, 2012, Sanders' R35 GT-R ran an 8.92@163.9mph pass on an Alpha 12 GT-R race fuel map. This is a typical Alpha 12 setting producing 1500 horsepower / 1100 ft-lbs of torque. On 93 octane, it produces 1150 horsepower / 950 ft-lbs torque. What makes this pass so remarkable is that Tim's car is a full weight R35 GT-R with full interior and nothing removed. This pass is indicative of what an AMS Alpha 12 GT-R owner can do in the 1/4 mile.
1/4 Mile statistics:
60ft 1.558
330ft 4.006
1/8 5.992@129.81
1000ft 7.543
1/4 8.92@163.9mph

Attached some cameras on Asim Gondal's Left hand drive Nissan Skyline R32 GTR.
It develops 598whp / 680nm on all 4 wheels (about 730hp 850nm in engine)
And in this video it shows some of it's power an noise. (To bad he had old/faded brakes in this video.)
The video is from Rudskogen Motorcenter at the event GATEBIL.
8 Second Skyline R33 GTR at Killarney
The Rev Life event, 10 November 2012, saw this insane Nissan Skyline R33 GTR by No Sweat Racing take on Killarney's quarter mile strip and run a 8.6 second pass. This must be a new record for the strip. Here's an earlier practice run from earlier in the day.

This week-end I had the extreme pleasure and opportunity to follow the 2012 Rallye de Paris, starting from Paris. Thanks a lot to EAP (Emotion Auto Prestige) for making this possible, it was an amazing journey! This 13 minute-long video is only about DAY 1, from Paris to Magny-Cours track, then from Magny-Cours to our night stop somewhere in Bourgogne.
This adventure was incredible. Seeing so many cars: Ferrari F40, Gumpert Apollo S, Lamborghini Aventador, Porsche GT3RS, Maserati GranCabrio, Porsche Carrera GT, Mercedes SLR, Ferrari 599 GTO, Lamborghini Murciélago, Ford GT Gulf Heritage, McLaren MP4-12C, Lotus Exige, Ferrari 458 spider, Nissan GTR, Lotus Elise, Ford GT, Camaro SS, Ferrari 430, Lamborghini LP560, lots of Porsche of all kind... and many many more!! Seeing all these cars up-close, having a go on the tracks, and just cruising around the french countryside, was EXQUISITE!! Lovely. We had lots of fun, amazing views, luckily some sun, and even some funny moments, as you can see at 13:09 - a lightning above the Gumpert Apollo S ...
Filmed with a Sony HDR CX700
Enjoy!

2012 Nissan DeltaWing - First Onboard In Car Video
NISSAN BACKS GROUND-BREAKING DELTAWING PROJECT FOR LE MANS
Nissan DeltaWing experimental racecar to be powered by Nissan 1.6-litre DIG-T engine technology in this generation's most revolutionary and exciting motorsport project
Nissan leads efficiency charge as founding partner of project
Innovative new racing car to run at Le Mans with Nissan technology
Nissan DeltaWing will act as test bed for new road car technologies
Drive for efficiency will see car use half the fuel of its conventional counterparts, bringing Nissan "PureDrive" principles to the track
Initial backers include racing legends Dan Gurney and Don Panoz, concept designer Ben Bowlby and Michelin
Special invitation from ACO to occupy 'Garage 56'
Car to wear number '0' and run outside race classification
LONDON, United Kingdom (13 March 2012) - Nissan is aiming to change the face of endurance racing forever by becoming a founding partner in the most radical motorsport project of its time - Nissan DeltaWing.
A highly-advanced and hugely-efficient Nissan engine will power the remarkable DeltaWing car as it races in anger for the first time at the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours (16-17 June).
While Nissan DeltaWing will not be classified in the 2012 Le Mans 24 Hours, the Company is looking to showcase the pioneering technology that will show one potential direction for the future of motorsport and will feed into the research and development of future technologies, that filter down to Nissan's road car product range.
A race-prepared 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine, featuring direct petrol injection and a turbocharger, will power Nissan DeltaWing, which is half the weight and has half the aerodynamic drag of a conventional racer.
With innovation at its core, Nissan was a natural partner to be invited into the DeltaWing family by the existing group of core partners - US-domiciled British designer Ben Bowlby, American motorsport entrepreneur Don Panoz, the All-American Racers organization of former US Formula 1 driver Dan Gurney, Duncan Dayton's two-time championship-winning Highcroft Racing team and Michelin Tyres North America.
The engine, badged DIG-T (Direct Injection Gasoline - turbocharged), is expected to produce around 300hp, sufficient to give Nissan DeltaWing lap times between LMP1 and LMP2 machines at Le Mans, despite having only half the power of those conventional prototypes. It features the same technology found in Nissan road cars, such as the range-topping Nissan Juke DIG-T.
"As motor racing rulebooks have become tighter over time, racing cars look more and more similar and the technology used has had less and less relevance to road car development. Nissan DeltaWing aims to change that and we were an obvious choice to become part of the project," said Andy Palmer, Executive Vice President, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.
"But this is just the start of our involvement. Nissan DeltaWing embodies a vast number of highly-innovative ideas that we can learn from. At the same time, our engineering resources and commitment to fuel efficiency leadership via our PureDrive strategy will help develop DeltaWing into a testbed of innovation for Nissan".
"This announcement gives Nissan the opportunity to become part of a ground-breaking motorsport project and one which could shape the future of the sport," he added.
Nissan DeltaWing concept originator and designer, Briton Ben Bowlby, said: "Nissan has provided us with our first choice engine. It's a spectacular piece. We've got the engine of our dreams: it's the right weight, has the right power and it's phenomenally efficient."
