that got the moonshine out of the mountains, over the roads, past the law,
and into the speakeasies

muscle car salvage yard
i made a trip to a salvage yard to look for seats for a 1969 barracuda and
while i was there,i took alot of pics of cars and some trucks.lots of
dodges and mopars and alot of chevy cars too. not many fords or foreign
cars though. most of these are for sale and for parts.most cars are still
restoreable. i did get permission to go there so i didnt trespass or break
in. the yellow cuda in the warehouse was my favorite one. if you like
anything please comment and ill give you some contact info.. the yard is in
P.S. the place is heavily secured so dont think of breaking in or you will
get caught. the feed mill in the background is still in business and its
very busy and 18 wheelers use the gravel road that im parked on quite often
(the red 1986 chevy is my daily driver and is for sale in the deep east
Moonshine County Express
This a really bad B grade '70s movie so one has to accept the screeching
tyres on dirt roads. But its great to watch two classic muscle cars being
thrashed. We can't do that anymore.

Pontiac 455 duet
The LeMans (on the left) has a mild, non-rebuilt 455 with ported & polished
6X heads, c. 9:1 compression, Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley 800 Street
Avenger, Comp XE274 cam, making maybe 300-350 horsepower. The Grand Am
(right) has a .030 over 455 with Edelbrock heads (87 cc chambers), 10:1
compression, same Comp cam but with 1:65 roller rockers, slightly better Exhaust (H-pipe), Edelbrock Performer RPM
intake and Edelbrock 750 carb. About 500 horsepower at the flywheel.
The heads make all the difference. The Grand Am has the Flowmaster American
Thunder Exhaust system, which has the
50-series mufflers. LeMans has a Summit Exhaust system, which was cheap and went on nice
